SchtefJan 4, 2010Entertaining puzzle game which is different everything else I've been able to find. Multiplayer with more than 2 people can be frustrating but I believe that's due to communication, not game design. The goo balls are pretty cute in a static way and best of all, the humour on the signboards leaves you to figure out the level yourself, making it more challenging. Great game.

ArquimedesQuinteroOct 14, 2008This is the best experience i've had with any wiiware title and even better than a bunch of retail ones. It is a must have.
This really shows that you can make great things in Wiiware, if this 3-man team could pull this off, other development studios can do wonders in this platform. they are just not trying hard enough. -

Sep 18, 2011Proof that monumental things can come for even simple style games. This is probably the most addictive, challenging and easiest to learn games I've ever played in my life. I can't say enough good things.

balookazooOct 4, 2009Not a fan, I love the music, art-style, initial gameplay, but the game is just bland. Something about it. I really can't believe it is scored as highly by everyone for such a game at the $15 pricetag. Play a demo online first would be my suggestion, because these high scores completly overrate this game.

Oct 19, 2010Dumbest puzzle game ever. Waste of time and money. WTF are you people smoking? I'm insulted every minute I play this game. This crap is the same things every smart phone has going on a zillion different times.

Jan 1, 2012Meh it is a good game but very overrated like other indie games. The puzzles are fun but it's not exactly amazing like reviewers say. It needs more of something...

Esposch.Oct 18, 2008From time to time, a random game you stumble across impresses you a lot (65 Million and 1 BC, Clean Asia! etc.) This is one of them. If you don't buy this game, you are missing out on the best download of 2008, and we wouldn't want that, would we?

[anonymous]Jan 2, 2010This is a truly amazing game, full of addicting puzzles and a very original way of building towards your goal. And all that was made by just 2 people and $10,000.00. This is really worth your money, and it's only $15.

DaveP.Oct 26, 2008I was a bit skeptical about this game at first. Then I played the PC demo. The music is amazing, the phisics perfect and the puzzles creative and challenging. If you have a PC and a credit card, or a wii, there is no reason this game should not be on your HD. At $20 or $15 this game is a steal.

ShawnLaibDec 7, 2008I'm not really into puzzle games that much but I tried this game out because everyone said that it was so good. I found out that it is an awesome puzzle game that has great graphics and sound and great game play. The only flaw is that the game is quite difficult later on in the game but that's just me. Still a great game!!!!!!!

ChrisMankinOct 18, 2008Amazing -- So simple to play it doesn't even need a tutorial, but kept me playing for several hours on end. The music is great quality and always appropriate for the atmosphere of the levels, and every level has a unique feel. I honestly can't come up with any complaint except "I need a sequel already"!

BrockJ.Oct 23, 2008A great, HIGHLY addictive puzzle game. I spent 4 hours playing it the first day. There hasn't been a puzzle game this good since Tetris. Proof that WiiWare can produce GREAT games that would otherwise not be widely available.

ChrisJ.Oct 24, 2008This game is amazing, if you liked portal or braid this is definately a must buy. Artistic graphics look wonderful. Music is stellar. Physics based gameplay is top notch. There is no reason not to purchase this game.

NickG.Jan 28, 2009Kind of like a cross between Lemmings, Jenga and plumbing! A refereshing game that's very easy to get into and yet you won't bore of it before you've finished it. Great gameplay, great graphics, great levels and great value! Probably the best game for the Wii after Super Mario. If you're at all into puzzle games, buy it now.

It's packed full of brilliant, challenging levels. It's gorgeous. It's got beautiful music. And it controls really well. So if you value any or all of these qualities, and hopefully you do, you should be delighted to know that Nintendo's downloadable service is about to rock your world, goo style.
-
Not only is World of Goo easily the best WiiWare release to date, it's also proof that you don't need a large development team or millions of dollars to create an outstanding video game. In an era of video gaming where style is often emphasized over substance, it's refreshing to see a title like World of Goo that somehow manages to feature an abundance of both.
-
It's the atmosphere that transforms World of Goo from a great concept to a fantastic game, with production values well above what you'd expect from a tiny indie developer. The crisp, hand-drawn visuals burst with care and creativity, recalling the wonderfully distinct approach of another recent downloadable favorite, Castle Crashers. And the music -- who would've expected such intense anthems from a physics-based puzzler?
