Aug 13, 2016This game was very strange, very short, and very average. I can't say I enjoyed it to any extent, but I didn't hate it when I played through it. It's just a harmless platformer, and the story is surprisingly dark. Also, I think it's funny when the other wild things attack you back when you hit them. That's the only part I really enjoyed.

Mar 11, 2018The best movie that shows how to be a young kid.
The visual, and surrealism feeling is top notch.

Clocking in at around five or six hours, depending upon your commitment to nabbing hidden items, the experience is short-lived. The adventure is rock solid, though, in spite of some repetition. The game's high points are sure to shine especially bright for anyone who loved the book growing up.

Considering the fact that Where the Wild Things Are offers nothing in the way of exciting platforming or combat, and it doesn't even run all that well, I'd avoid this one altogether.

In the end, Where the Wild Things Are delivers a far more passionate experience than one might expect. Griptonite Games went with a wholly original plot that is far darker and, in many respects, more compelling than the movie’s take, but the developer does so at some risk.
