Wacky World of Sports is a title sadly lacking in features and innovation.
-
Sega may have tried to bring something new to the sporting genre but they fallen foul of the same problems and clichés that blight many releases for the Wii.
-
It’s hard to recommend Wacky World of Sports due to its hit-and-miss events and occasionally poor controls.
-
A Wii sports game that you have to avoid, because you won’t be playing this game for long because the controls are really nasty. The game itself is an inspire-less product which has no replay value whatsoever.
-
BoomtownUnfortunately what you get at the end of the day here, despite it's 'Wacky' tag is an extremely average mini game compilation.
-
AceGamezWacky World Sports is one of those games that you like and don't like. Good graphics, fun and enjoyable characters… some flimsy games and terrible sound effects.
-
In case you haven’t gotten my point by now, you really don’t want to play Wacky World of Sports. The mini-games are boring deviations from things that you’ve played elsewhere and they’ve undoubtedly performed better than they do here.
-
games(TM)Gameplay is standard stuff, and very little imagination seems to have been given over to making the mini-games feel engaging. [Nov 2009, p.120]
-
Wacky World of Sports is certainly wacky but is just another party title that will be hitting the bargain bins.
-
As a “budget game” it is not terrible and the events are as wacky as the title suggests and could give some short-lived enjoyment for younger players if they’re accompanied by a friend or three, but as a single player experience this is quite tedious and the lack of events means that repetition is unavoidable.
