TV Show King has a great presentation but the quiz game design and writing do not quite reach the same level of quality. The bad bits stack up against the game: no buzzing in, stupid multiple choice options in the "normal" setting, and idiotic computer AI opponents who choose some of the more obvious wrong answers.

It is a fun party game, on par with games like Scene It or Rock Band, but not as addictive. And at 1000 Wii Points ($10.00), I can't say that it is for everyone. But for me, a trivia junkie, it was totally worth it.

Game show fans will easily get a kick out of the quirky gameplay, and it's definitely worth playing with a group of people who share an appreciation for the genre.
