PaulSNov 27, 2009I played this all Thanksgivnig night with my family. It was a blast. It took me a while to figure out that the mii feture was something to unlock. I did end up getting far enough to play as my mii. I'm not sure why it's a locked feature, it should have been an immediate option.

DimitriMDec 28, 2009It's a fun game but some of the tricks are annoying and when I try to do them I sometimes fall off the skateboard. When you play this game make sure you're wearing sneakers. When I sometimes play it bare foot or if I wear socks, my feat start to hurt. The bottom line is this is an AMAZING game. It's a must buy.

Dec 1, 2010I should have listened to my friends. I love skating so I didn't listen and got this game. It isn't that it's bad, it just isn't very good. Same old same old and then more of the same old. Oh well, at least it was better than the stip poker game I reviewed on this site.

The board brings the franchise to life in remarkable ways. There is a decent variety of game modes and the β80s look is a nice touch.

The huge level of frustration is not worth the time it takes to master the awkward gameplay idiosyncrasies. Instead, itβs more tempting β even as someone with experience β to just spam the waggle movements for a passable high score.

Tony Hawk Ride never came together. It straddles an uncomfortable line between casual and hardcore without being satisfying in either respect and it lacks the polish and presentation necessary to cover up the gameplay shortcomings...File this one under "gimmick."
