    I am an adult playing this game and I would recommend it more for teens/adults than younger children. Passages require basic reading (paying attention to clues that tell you where you have to go)/navigation (you know where you're coming and going from)/coordination skills (you won't get angry to re-try things, esp. with faulty mini game controls). Graphically, this game in a "cutesy anime style", is great. I really like that there is no blood or major violence! I also like how it has a strong theme of space exploration. You can click on objects in background to interact. You can customize the character by gender, different colors, different types of clothing, name (although it was hard for me to input). Gameplay ranges from super easy to moderately difficult. Problems in game arise with faulty controls. If you have a well-functioning wii remote, with practice and patience you can overcome these problems. Another problem is game play is tedious at times esp. in the adventure mode. There is lots of going back and forth to: collect moon rocks/turn rocks into power/turn power into object/go to where location is locked and use objects. Sound and music are neither compelling nor overly annoying. So far, I've only played this game in one-person mode. Assuming you are not trying to cheat in any way, gameplay time to complete the game in adventure mode takes a very long time. I haven't gotten to the end of the game yet and it's been several hours but look forward to when I do. Save points in the game work great. Overall, an inspiring and creative game. If you enjoy this Wii game, I encourage you to check out "Help Wanted: 50 Wacky Jobs" too. It's also somewhat space-oriented in also a "cutesy anime" compelling mini-game style too.… Expand

    Impossible controls, awful multiplayer modes... This game has it all. I swear this game made me go crazy. DO NOT play it. My little cousin played the multiplayer with me (He's 4 years old) and even he said to me, "When can I stop?" Keep in mind HE WAS THE ONE TO ASK ME TO PLAY. Just don't play it. Burn it in a bonfire if you own it for some reason. I must add, however, that the onlyImpossible controls, awful multiplayer modes... This game has it all. I swear this game made me go crazy.     My 7 year old son played and I watched. I agree with the critic's review completely. We encountered the exact same problem that the reviewer encountered and we also could not complete the game. Very frustrating. I actually called activision support and they claimed it was due to not fully completing the "side missions" or not in the right order. Also, it appears that if you do encounter this problem, the only option is the start the game over. Again, very frustrating especially for a 7 year old. As this game is really more oriented to the younger crowd, I would ask game makers (if they are reading these types of reviews) to try to build in better hints, etc. so the game can be completed. It could even be a setup option so that older, more experienced gamers can opt out. Aside from this BIG issue, my son loved playing the game very much and it suited his age/skill level quite well.… Expand

    Space Camp has a great style described as anime-esc the characters are well animated and the whole world is colorful and vibrant, the graphics are as good graphics as you'd expect from a Wii-game (not great) but still great. The education element is really enjoying your learning about space and space camp while playing the game!     There’s a full day’s worth of material here and lots of unlockables. However, it gets repetitive, and we encountered an apparent glitch that stopped us from beating the game.
