Nov 24, 2015It's a shame this version never got a professional review score metacritic as it deserves being highlighted as a completely separate entity.
Thoroughly enjoyed this game and can't quite believe just how much kadokawa butchered the wii u version. -
Nov 24, 2015I love this game. It's disappointing that they brought this game down because of the mediocre Wii U and 3DS ports. The Wii version is a beautiful game in the vein of Yuji Naka's past games such as Nights into Dreams and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Nov 24, 2015Wonderful game, love the game play and love the story.
WiiU version is wonderful as well.
people really need to stop nagging about it.
both games have a learning curve but after that its just perfect. -
May 1, 2016What a fun game! I enjoyed the story and Yuji Naka continues to make great games. He is the man behind Sonic the Hedgehog's early years and of Nights into Dreams.

Dec 20, 2015Even though it arrives a few years late, at least we have the opportunity to try this version of the game, which clearly is the "good one". Everything makes sense on Wii, and even though it feels a little bit outdated, it still is interesting and fun for those who know the game they're buying.

Dec 13, 2015Rodea the Sky Soldier proved it could soar on the Wii; it is just a shame that it will be doomed to obscurity.

Nintendo Force MagazineNov 30, 2015My advice? Buy Rodea the Sky Soldier for Wii U, toss the Wii U disc into a nearby sewage canal, pop the Wii disc into your machine and let 'er spin! [Issue #18 – November/December 2015, p.73]
