This game is good but I do not get it how people do not like it.I liked it a lot from the start and it was good.It is a copy from Mario Parity but it is still really good and really fun!

Fun game, nice soundtrack. Love the new designs before the show ruined it. It's really fun to play. I love the mini bosses the strategy used for it. Kept beating my friends

This game is a kinda cheap ripoff of mario party and the minigames are kinda basic. But besides those problems the gameplay is fun and addicting the gameplay is also.

I've enjoyed Mario Party for years with my kiddos and was a huge fan of Pac-Man when I was a kid myself, so I didn't think I'd go to far out on a limb picking up this little nugget. Why did i do it? Weak. It's just weak. Somehow I fetl that they oculd add something interesting to this old dinosaur of a series, but I was wrong. Ithink it's time for Pac-Man to retire. His reign is over.

This game was a huge disappointment. It is not as colorfully vibrant as I was expecting. The game story is weak and uninteresting. The mini games are fun and some have a high replay value. Creating buildings, obtaining points and winning a board is not as rewarding as it should feel. The boss fights are a positive though.

What a Mario Party rip-off! I have good reasons why I hate it besides calling Pac-Man Party a Mario Party Rip-Off. The Graphics are bright and playful tone, I love that. The character designs are T.E.R.R.I.B.L.E., what does that spell? Terrible! I also hated the sound effects so much that I acted like I'm deaf. I'd rather have a container of scorpions be poored into my bath tub under playing this awful game. Oh yeah, I'd wish that this game is never made and I hope that they'd stick with the Pac-Man World designs. I found this game disappointing and boring way too quickly. What was Namco thinking? Are you kidding about looking up Mario Party and say, "Oh yeah, let's go rip-off Mario Party because it's soooo popular." Sure I loved the Mario Party series for years. Sure I loved the original arcade Pac-Man and the Mini-Games. Oh yeah, you know what else this game is a rip-off of? Pac-Man Fever! That's right! Pac-Man Fever, right besides Mario Party. I highly suggest you think twice before buying the game, so I hope you rent it first before buying the game. I can ensure you that if you buy it before renting. I'd wish for a better game than this. I'm giving this an F- and I want improvements. My other words, Do not buy this game. Expand

Did you like Mario Party? Well here is a slightly more complex version that doesn't try anything new and, is a complete re-hash the adds pointless characters and a lack luster campaign that you'll lose your investment in rather quickly.

    It’s “Fine”
Pac-Man Party actually nearly succeeds at being a competitor to Mario Party, But sadly it’s just too conventional to hit the right chords.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Damn Pac-Man Party! Its come back to haunt me! I mean...it's not an abysmal game by any means. In all honesty, I think it's an underrated game. It may be overshadowed even by the wicked Mario Party 9, but with the right moodiest, it is possible to have a good time with this load of lemon juice. The experience may feel sour at first, but if you make peace with the flavor, you'll start to grasp something sweet. In Pac-Man's party game, you go around the board collecting pellets that are actually cursed floating cookies...I don't know. After collecting the goal amount you need to return to the bakery in order to claim total victory. You can boost your chances by raising castles. When a rival lands on one of your said castles a mini game begins and you can steal a set amount of cookies depending on the level of defense. But losing means a castle takeover. A multitude of castles are essential to have on hand since you also get a little bonus with the cookies you claim every time you pass the bakery. Its like Monopoly, you earn 200 bucks every time you pass GO and you have the chance to weaken your opponents the more properties you own. The dice system is a variety of micro games, with enough skill you can manipulate your movement entirely and avoid traps It's a decent system, the only problem I have is that 3 to 4 player games can take an eternity to complete! Imagine you're on a large board like Mirage Oasis, almost all of the free spaces have different colored castles, every player could possibly land on a rivals property and your playing about 4 mini games every single turn! Even a game with the smallest goal score can take a couple hours with enough bad luck. While most of the mini-games are alright, playing the crap of the crop too many times can lead to meltdown. As for Story Mode, it's simple enough. You challenge the ghosts on various boards so you can take back Mr. Cookie's "Secret Formuler". And wow...I think Pac-Man should either be pronounced missing or dead, because this redesign is unacceptable. This Pac-man isn't the hero from Pac-World or even the one from Ghostly Adventures despite the similarities. He sounds like a kid from Banjo-Kazooie and not everyone is a fan of his new eyes. Along with the new ghost designs, I think it would make more sense if these were rather the children of Pac-Man and the ghosts. I want to chat with Clyde's mom! The character selection is pretty odd. Of course Pac and the ghosts are playable, but the last 3 characters are brand new. Patra, Woofa, and Roger are characters Pac-Man meets on his quest in story mode. While they have nice designs, its storage that well known characters like Ms. Pac-Man or even characters from other Bandai-Namco weren't included. This is strange world that lies in between classic Pac-Man and Ghostly Adventures. While Pac-Man's character is hard to identify, I think Pac-Man World 3 is strong example on how to give a strong sense of identity. It's not the best game in the series, but why throw out what made its realm feel so alive? This is why Pac-Man has both many faces and flavors. Would you prefer an adult Pac-Man akin to the game series' current age? Or a new gen Pac-Man to relate to the kids? The story is pretty bland, as it consists of Blinky's constant complaining some villain openings, and a Dora the Explorer style ending where Pac-Man asks the player to never stop playing. I'll keep you up to that promise, but only because I want to give my cousins a memorable experience. As for the "yes this game has boss fights", they're all fun distractions. But now I know where this game got its E10 rating from. Its strange, even Pac-Man World 3 was E rated despite its darker tone, but then this game introduces us to Freddy Fazbear's little brother and some creepy death animations. Just look at in horror as Pac-Man and his pals freeze and severely beat villains to death. Poor Bearserk's candy was pinched and instead of trying to reason with the furious soul they just outright murder him! After completing Story Mode, you can now party on the new special courses! Sadly, they're all just all jumbled up versions of the levels you've played before. Same colors, same level theme, it's just an altered board. It's lackluster to say the least. You can also play the original Pac-Man, Dig-Dug, and Galaga. Feels weird to play with a Wiimote, its like stale birthday cake. On the bright side, the board designs are all very vibrant. At least its a nice visual experience. But it would've been nice to see a platformer game with this style and theme to go with the Pac-Man party experience. But since this game is a lone wolf it only leads a small pack of followers. "Is it an enjoyable game?" Sometimes. The characters are expressive and the ideas are lovely. The execution has just got me feeling mixed. It's not a bad game, just a strange one. Aside from the boss fights, I think it's a great kids game. It's an interesting experiment that didn't go horribly wrong. Expand

Incredible game. A collection of namco’s best arcade games ft. PAC-MAN, galaga, and even dig dug. Plus, it contains an additional party mode which with a teddy bear that transforms into a scary animatronic with wolverine claws.

Pacman Party is an original, fun, and delightful game. It fuses the best parts of Monopoly and Mario party into one game. The soundtrack is good, the graphics and artstyle are neat. Theres even 3 retro games included which are always awesome. I'd definitely recommend pacman party to anyone with its story mode multiplayer and retro content it's an overall good package.

PAC-MAN Party is a guilty pleasure of mine. Honestly, I played this game more than any of the Mario Party games on the Wii or Wii U. And honestly, it might be better than Mario Party 9 and 10. Pac-Man Party has a lot of the right elements, but Namco wasn't able to fit them together to make a worthwhile game.

Pac-Man Party is quite a surprising party game. The minigames are as good as, if not better, than some of the Mario Party games offered recently, while the board game elements are more engaging than most of the current party games.
