    The review you quote from GamePlayerSweeden isnt a review of the Nintendo DS game, its a review of the Wii game.

    The game is bad at the begining because your a new racer and there is a lot of talking and yours car pretty much sucks until the end of the game, but it's pretty addicting and long. It's cool how you make your car and a my SIm.

    Feels silly as a racing game. Get Mario Kart Wii instead... that's a true game every racing fan was dying to get. This, however, is money at its finest.

    This game is an alright game but everyone would play Mario Kart Wii instead not saying it's a bad game.
    In the beginning your car isn't that good either and you will have read alot but atleast you can make your own MySim and car.

    The epitome of Mediocre. The best part is the same cute art style seen in other MySims games. But that can only get you so far with a bad Mario Kart ripoff with bad controls even while using the more traditional Classic Controller. Overall if you want a racing game for Wii get Mario Kart Wii and if you want a MySims game for Wii get MySims. Don’t try killing two birds with one stone.

    The Sims Racing passes the theory test, but fail the driving test instead. There's really no point in playing this when there are games like Mario Kart around.

    By no means bad, but less than we'd expect from the MySims 'franchise'. Limps home a distant second place to the real thing. [Aug 2009, p.67]

    The inevitable comparison between Mario Kart and MySims Racing is unfair at best: even if the game is kinda fun to play, EA's title can't be nearly as good as Nintendo's milestone. If you can get over it, you'll find yourself with a nice but unpolished racing game.
