AceGamezWhere King of Clubs really excels is in its humour and lifespan.
-
A real clunker.
-
The problematic controls, somewhat bland visuals and forgettable sounds all lend to a game which is going to become bargain bin material sooner than one may hope.
-
King of Clubs doesn't play a very good game of golf, and the unlockable elements do little to counteract this rather glaring flaw.
-
Controls are unresponsive.
-
It’s simple, really. King of Clubs just isn’t any fun to play, and in an industry obsessed with making money at the consumers’ expense and developing safe-bet hit software, developers would do well to take note: video games should be fun.
-
King of Clubs tried to set itself apart with a nonsensical storyline and characters, but their appeal falls flat. The game's control scheme, with its arbitrary motion control included in place of what would have worked better as standard button presses, also assures that few players will have fun here.

Nintendo GamerPrecisely zero hours of fun. [Christmas 2007, p.57]
-
The game tries to be a tamer Outlaw Golf, but its attempts at humor are utter failures. If a game is trying to sell itself as being crazy, wacky, or some other adjective in the vein of kooky, at the very least I should crack a smile at some point after playing it for ten plus hours.

Official Nintendo Magazine UKUgly, unplayable and not even close to being fun. [Nov 2007, p.92]

King of Clubs feels like yet another "me too" title in a sea of the same.
