Jul 16, 2016This game is fun and at the same time relaxing. The graphics are smooth and the missions are fun! The controls are great! This game is a bit flawed but give it a try please!

May 19, 2012A wonderful game. The exploration just kept me going to different areas, marveling at the graphic quality of all the sea creatures. Just incredible, and a wonderful game for relaxation.

Mar 22, 2012It suffers from the lack of a story, but this was an incredible idea for a game. I especially love how you can import your own music to listen to while playing.

JonathanCarrierAug 6, 2009The most relaxing game ever. When frustrated put this game in and share the warmth of it's zen-like quality and it's Enya-esque music...or if that's not to your liking put in your own music via your memory card and listen to some heavy death metal. There's no time limit, no challenges, heck just free scuba diving without having to actually go do it. I highly recommend this.

NathanLJan 12, 2009Wow. I was blown away by how bad this was. I tried to like it. I love the WiiWare game My Aquarium, which also isn't a game, but Endless Ocean is not pretty or fun in any way. Just because it doesn't have a set plot doesn't mean it shouldn't have some form of entertainment. One of the worst games I have ever played!

DarrenZ.Jun 24, 2008An underrated classic. Fantastic graphics, relaxing pace, and a mesmerizing experience make this one a winner. It would be nice if there was a little more to do than just swim around and look at things, but the visual presentation and joy of discovery is enough to keep you coming back for more.

MarkP.Apr 19, 2008Good looking but extremely boring. I tried it twice and will not try again... I have more interesting thoughts, so why play something that makes me itch with boredom.

AllenV.Feb 26, 2008Great bang for the buck. The sea visuals are outstanding for the most part and the game play is pretty addicting. Just one more dive! Great for non-gamers and SCUBA divers who need a quick fix.

SamuelM.Feb 10, 2008Great Game when you need a break from COD4. Graphics are really, really nice to boot!

HenriC.Feb 9, 2008At first it appeared very boring. But once I played it a few times, I saw it's addictive nature. As everyone has said, it's slow paced and relaxing, but the graphics are excellent. It's a nice change of pace from traditional games. Type A players probably won't enjoy. My kids (4, 7) enjoy it and even play it a bit.

wiimanJan 30, 2008This game does exactly what it advertised. And the graphics when diving are fantastic, definitely beyond xbox/ps2 graphics these are only able to be shown on the Wii. Tons of stuff to do, and just plain fun. Gives you a little of the feeling that Animal Crossing gives, in that you can never be hurt and you don't fight anything.

JoshD.Jan 28, 2008I had been waiting on this since first announced. It is perfect for anyone that wants to kick back, relax and explore. One major drawback is the ability to play mp3's however I have converted many of mine to AAC so that they are able to be played in the Photo Channel Ver. 1.1.

DennisM.Jan 26, 2008I could not have wished for better. I have played this 5 hours straight on my first play, and it is incredibly deep and relaxing. While one wouldnt say it has action/explosions, it has amazing atmosphere... It feels amazing to play, and has plenty of goals to keep you progressing. Expect something with a slow pace, but with amazing atmosphere.

TerryT.Jan 26, 2008Great game, works well on the Wii, and at $30, a steal. If you've been wanting a game where you can just explore at your own will, this is it. Pretty environments and a pretty large area to explore - Endless Ocean can be quite addicting and relaxing to play. Quality title.

AndymanJan 26, 2008One of the best chill-out games I've ever played. You just dive in and venture off to wherever you want. It's like your own private beautiful interactive aquarium. I've never used the words "tranquil" and "serene" to describe a game, but I feel like this game restored balance to my collection. The music alone is worth getting Endless Ocean for. Magnificent.

It comes across as more of a toy then a real game, and with a budget price of $29.99 it is well worth the purchase for anyone seeking a way to wind down that won’t numb the brain.
-
Despite the uncomfortable number of missed opportunities and graphics that fall short of current-generation standards, tooling around underwater and leisurely unfolding the central events in Endless Ocean remained unexpectedly delightful and engaging until the end—and even a few hours after.
-
Okay, so it doesn't win the award for most action-packed adventure on Wii, but it is a beautiful, innovative and very different kettle of fish. A breathtaking experience. [Christmas 2007, p.46]
