This game sucks. The plot is stupid and the characters are watery. They also committed the cardinal sin of racing games, which is putting the characters comments on a loop, meaning you hear the same 5 or 6 phrases every time you do something. The controls are simple enough, which is good, because the target audience is the only people Disney caters to anymore: 5-year-olds.

Yes Race-O-Rama may not be amazing but it's a movie game and it is better than most other movie games. I don't think or expect the games to be as good as the movies but I've gotta say that the story was new and fresh instead of just the same story as the movie.

A surprisingly fun game, even though the controls are weird, and the tracks are repetitive, the game is enjoyable and there's a good amount of content.

The characters can only say 5-6 things on a loop. That being said it still definitely is better than all the other Cars games, as it actually has a long lasting story line that is pretty fun in some places. The characters and modes for playing against your friends are also pretty cool. This being said, I will still never forgive THQ of committing the sin of having annoying voice lines. Why?

Cars Race-O-Rama is easily the best in the series. An excellent main hub world merging the original open world designs of Radiator Springs, Ornament Valley, and Tailfin Pass into one sprawling map to explore. An excellent main hub world merging the original open world designs of Radiator Springs, Ornament Valley, and Tailfin Pass into one sprawling map to explore. Various fun events, and new customization options that let players make McQueen into nearly whatever they want make this a fun experience. They even added some new and interesting characters, each with their own accompanying area, a pink sports car named Candace in the coastal Santa Carburera, an orange muscle car who goes by Stinger in the city of Motoropolis, and El Machismo, a blue offroad car who thrives on the dirt courses of Autovia. The story, told across fewer cutscenes than previous games, is easy to follow, and very compelling. All things considered, this is the perfect Cars tie-in game for players who like open-world exploration. Expand

It is the very definition of an average game, and does nothing to pay homage to the original movie, merely taking up six times the shelf space it should and damning any of the current platforms to yet another throwaway licensed game that simply wasn't needed.
  2. Cars Race O' Rama had some nice new additions, but in the end just wasn't as fun as racing in Lightning McQueen's world should be.
  3. In the end, if you have the other two then this game should make a solid addition to the previous games; however before you spend full price on this game you might want to check the used games bin for one of the two other Cars games that have been released before.
