This game is absolutely fantastic. The graphics are amazing the music is fantastic the vibe is gives off is happy and exuberant. The only fault I could find with the game is it's repetition otherwise hooray for a good third party wii title. (Now I know the person from game spot says it's too hard but that's absolutely ridiculous in my opinion.)

A gorgeous platformer with some groovin' tunes. Easy and natural controls (no shake to jump!) unique and fun levels, knowing that your are transforming the world by far is the most appealing. The cutscenes are an absolute riot!

Wow, such a pretty game! Really, especially for the Wii it looks sooo good. SUCH A SHAME the game doesn't feel very good. I kind of liked the first game, but it got a bit confusing sometimes, and it got boring very quickly. It looks like they spent some more time on the look of the game, but not enough time on the gameplay. You just do the same thing over and over again. It's good theyWow, such a pretty game! It's good they took out the wii shake to jump, but that is about all they did to make it different. It is pretty much the same game. And the saving is TERRIBLE. After a couple of times it didn't save very well I got really angry. It is such a shame they didn't make more effort with this game, it could have been really good. I ended up taking it back to the shop because of the terrible save game. Expand

De Blob 2 is one of the more revolutionary platformers of this decade by featuring music in tune with what colors you're coloring the world with. Each color has a different music tone to it, and it works out very well. This game would be a 10 if it had some control issues fixed, such as the walljump.

Simply blob-tastic. Only problem is that the textures and models, even in the XB360 and PS3 versions, look a bit un-detailed. Music is FANTASTIC. I want to get the final level's song on CD because of how good it was. Gameplay, while mildly repetitive, is as satisfying as it should be. The environments are constantly spruced up, with levels ranging from soda canneries to FRIGGIN' SPACE. AllSimply blob-tastic. Ahh de blob 2, how i love you. You are a great and much needed sequal to a good game, with more features, and updated graphics, and a better control scheme (no more waggle jump) you are a great game, albeit kinda short, i wish blue tongue would band back together and make a 3rd installment

De-Blob 2 is an average sequel to an average game. Nothing more, nothing less. I had my fingers crossed that the sequel would at least blow my mind in some way, but I was left unsatisfied. De-Blob 2 is an average sequel to an average game. Nothing more, nothing less. I had my fingers crossed that the sequel would at least blow my mind in some way, but I was left unsatisfied. Comrade Black is back! (The Inky soldier with the fanciest cap) And he plans to try and take over the world and Blob as to stop him once again.

One of the biggest problems this sequel has is that while their are certainly new gameplay elements and characters, nothing feels like a drastic change. Their's a new robot that assists Blob called Pinky for multiplayer mode, which doesn't really add anything to the game besides a means to paint buildings quicker.

Comrade Black starts a cult to control the city and brainwashes a lot of the Raydians. Which has the potential to lead to a lot of comedic and dark elements, but the only thing to come out of it are a couple new enemies. Once you finish "The Senate" level, its hard to tell the second game apart from the first game. You're still fighting Inkies, you're still saving Graydians (Yes, not everybody was brainwashed for some reason), and the gave even ends with another space level.

It's bizarre to see a game reuse this many elements from its predecessor. It's important for a sequel to be faithful to the original, but it should also contain a sense identity. I swear, the title of this game shouldn't be De Blob 2, it should be De Blob 12 More Levels, because that's all that this game is.

Some moments did stand out, like the monster boss in the Inky Fabricator stage better known as..."The Monster". Original Character...do not steal! Where you have to paint pathways to lead it into fire traps while dodge its attacks in quick-time events. All to jam of some pretty groovy beats.

Other than that though the game is still overall pretty underwhelming. Like the last game the "restore color to the world" theme is interesting, but it gets old fast. Did you want to see a fun team up between the heroes and the villains, well sorry sister this isn't a Mario RPG its De Blob 2 The Identical Plot Point. You get two conversations between the Inky scientists and that's it. Too bad, so sad.

I guess I did have a little fun with the final level though, where Comrade Black breaks the 4th wall and plays mind games with you. And final boss at the end, well I wouldn't call it hard, their are power ups everywhere to keep you alive, I didn't even lose a life. But it does take forever activate all the switches in order to defeat him.

Not a bad game by any means, but I wish it was a more interesting game.

deblob 2 reuses the concept of its predecessor and adds the most characteristic elements of a platformer, becoming surprisingly good.

There are only a few improvements compared to the first de Blob. The soundtrack is groovy, the gameplay is fun and altogether it is a wonderful and charming Jump&Run.

The few design decisions that take de Blob 2 towards skillful play don't produce a robust experience of this kind, and undermine the game's better qualities.
