    Code lyoko was my life back when I was a kid, so naturally I played the video games based off the show. I must have replayed this game like a dozen times, and looking back on it now, its still really good, and it really does feel like you are playing episodes of the show. Sadly though, as much as I love this game, I can really only recommend it to those who are fans of the show, as outsiders will most likely just see this as “another mediocre licensed game”, as the game is fairly short and easy once you know what you’re doing, and I didn’t even bring up the glitches, and this game does have a number of them. Nothing game breaking, but they are distracting. Fans like myself will be able to look past them, but outsiders might not be able to do so. Because of this, the game gets a 7/10. I love it, and I highly recommend that fans of the show check it out, but I don’t think anyone else would really get that much enjoyment out of it.… Expand

    Meh. I'm a fan of the show, so I enjoyed it, but it wouldn't really be fun for anyone else playing.

    It looks like a really fun game. I know it will be better than the DS v.1 because you do all the motions for th chacter(s).

    Obviously, many of the magazine reviewers haven't seen the series. Likewise they had preconceived expectations and not finding them (whatever they were) gave it mediocre reviews. The game is fun, the controls relatively easy but not too easy allowing the player to quickly learn moves and use them, the movements smooth, the scenery interesting and enemies plentiful.     its a good game
    fans of code lyoko should play it
    its fun with a good gameplay
    but is some repetitive
    i dont think is excellent but is good
    is very descent

    Fans may see past the clumsy structuring, but from a gamer's perspective this is slightly too flawed to pick up for throwaway fun. [Christmas 2007, p.62]

    It is formulaic, simple and not too lengthy, but it does the job for its target audience and there are hundreds of kid's games out there that are much, much worse.
