The cool thing about this game is the level design. Each stage has an item you must collect that reveals the exit, and sends you running backThe cool thing about this game is the level design. Each stage has an item you must collect that reveals the exit, and sends you running back along another path, or even back the way you came. The item also often generates more items to collect, or even restructures the level. This is a clever way to guide the player around, and create new challenges out of paths you already took. Later on in the game an enemy is introduced that mirrors your moves, and unpacking these movement puzzles is really enjoyable.

Also, the protagonist is a space woman with purple hair.

If you're the audience for this game, then you know it already! And you will probably look past the simple graphics, the public domain soundtrack, the levels that require you to kill yourself if you mess up at the wrong moment, and all the other little elements that separate this game from the retro "labors of love" and "passion projects" that are out there. You can tell that the developers love them. Space Hunted isn't like those games. It's hard to tell if it represents a genuine vision, or if it's just what the developers were able to create in a limited time. But in the end, what matters is if it gives you what you want. And if, when it comes down to it, you just want fast-paced, hard-as-balls 2D jumping, shooting, and a purple-haired space woman, then here's your game. It doesn't matter if it's perfect, or far from it. You're going to love it anyway.

I was about 15 years old when my mother said to him, 'If you ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, you have to stop immediately.'. Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me. My mother said to me- 'Don't ever smoke. Please don't put your family through what your Grandfather put us through." I agreed. At 28, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because this god awful "video game" gave me cancer anyway.
TLDR: This game is a travesty against man kind. Please don't buy this game. It'll cost more than your money, it will cost you the little precious time you have on this world. The controls, the levels, the music, the gameplay, the story is all just shallow, vapid, and dead.
