    Epic Dumpster Bear
    Belongs in The Trash
Epic Dumpster Bear is a 2d side scrolling platformer where you play as a bear that sets out to take revenge on the corporations ruining the forest of the world... Here you collect coins which lets you respawn with an extra heart and unlock bonus levels and along your way to the bullseye at the end of each level you dodge obstacles and enemies

Here you collect coins which lets you respawn with an extra heart and unlock bonus levels and along your way to the bullseye at the end of each level you dodge obstacles and enemies through a variety of worlds..
At first this was a fun dumb lazy feeling Mario rip off, I was laughing at how ridiculous this game was... I was double jumping by farting... I’d be throwing bombs to break rocks and kill enemies…
exploring the levels for warps to secret levels... actively trying to find the red coins for the bonus salmon
there are dumpster checkpoints in each level so if you die you don’t restart from the beginning..
    I was having fun...
but it didn’t even take til the end of this games first world for the fun and laughing to stop…
Getting through this game was painful... it hurt my heart and soul playing through this lazily designed game…
on the plus side I enjoyed the bosses at the end of each world and it’s a challenging game.. There’s timing involved in the platforming and the game gets harder the further you go...
but the design of this game is some of the laziest garbage I’ve ever seen…
it looks and feels like a flash game..
There’s one level in particular where you’re platforming upwards while fire chases you and then when you get to the top you have to go right to finish the level... but the screen is basically frozen trying to catch up with the player forcing you to take damage, needing luck to get past these final 2 obstacles after everything you just suffered through..
And this moment basically summarizes the game...
a mix of luck and timing...
it’s one of those games that has the potential to be your favorite bad game... but for me... it just hurt...
there’s nothing clever here... it’s a set of a bunch of bad Mario maker levels.
    I give Epic Dumpster Bear
    a 2.5/10

This game is like a cheaper version of Donkey Kong Country but is fun nontheless. It has good humor and is a very challenging platformer. Fun little platformer.

I personally got a bit bored after the first hour and a half and anything after that felt like a bit of a slog.

Epic Dumpster Bear isn’t terrible. It runs smoothly with no frame rate hiccups or annoying glitches, but the controls are counterintuitive and the first few worlds are a bit of a drag. You’ll start to have some fun if you can manage to hang around until the fourth world, but the game hits its stride too late in the adventure, making it nearly impossible to warrant a replay.

Epic Dumpster Bear is competent at providing a hilarious, long-lasting and varied platforming experience that doesn't take itself too seriously. Beyond that, it's a rather standard game that doesn't rely on anything else, certainly not on its simple visual and audio atmosphere. While players looking for a funny platformer will be entertained, those who crave a more in depth and technically gratifying experience will look elsewhere.
