    With its unique mashup of matching and math, Chests O’ Booty could be just the thing for puzzle gamers looking for a new experience, but a mediocre presentation, design issues, and a lack of polish keep it from truly delivering on that promise.

    Visually speaking, COB looks good, and the pirate/nautical aesthetic is a nicer touch than most eShop titles, although it’s not anything noteworthy. Without much to offer beyond the core puzzle game experience--which gets tired quickly--there’s just not a lot of game here.
