Feb 10, 2022Gameplay is so incredibly slow. And all the combos dont really make it better. If youre already down to basically 0 LP and your opponent has 2 3000+ATK Monsters but decides to go for another 5 minutes of combos and effects just to boost his ego when he could have ended it with 1 of these monsters you get frustrated.

Jan 21, 2022If you want to spend 8 minutes per turn watching your Korean opponent exploit some vague, quadruple special effects then this is game for you! In all seriousness: this is boring as hell. You're better off playing Duel Links if you want to to enjoy some actual good Yugioh content

Aug 31, 2022It's a fun game, and it runs much better on Switch now than it did at launch. Give it a shot if you're interested!

Feb 2, 2022Terrible incredibly slow. Matches can be 5-15 mins long. You constantly draw cards unevenly. Print is small if you are on a console. You spend way too much time losing . Ai always ALWAYS draws the same cards to counter your deck. Dont spend money on this .

Jan 29, 2022The long-awaited Yu-Gi-Oh! game delivers on its promise. Whether you're a novice, a hobbyist or an expert, it will be a game for you. Its single player mode which is full of tutorials to learn the basics and its mechanics while telling stories about the archetypes. On the other hand, with PvP in room or ranked with an exclusive banlist that puts all players on the same level. Especially with the possibility to craft your cards or destroy them. There are however some flaws that can be found. Apart from that, the lights are green for Konami's competitive game.

Jan 25, 2022Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is an odd game to recommend. Those of you who have never played before may want to check it out—it’s free after all—but even at that lowest of prices the barrier to entry is so great that it can feel like getting stuck into this one isn’t really worth the effort it would take. Those of you who have a longer history with Yu-Gi-Oh! will have a much better time getting into it and climbing the ranks, but then you were probably going to play this game regardless of reviews. At any rate, Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel has all the foundations of a potentially great online card-battler, and though it has its issues — at least at launch — it’s definitely worth checking out if you've got the fortitude to stick with it.

Jan 24, 2022Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel delivers what all duellists have been waiting for, as well as a surprise standout solo mode that relieves itself from the shackles of the anime. With quality deck-building mechanics, intuitive duelling, and an impressive roster of available cards, it’s only the test of time that this free-to-play game still has to ace.
