One of the best yoga games to play at home nowadays. It's like a real yoga master.

Don't buy this if you want to game. Buy this if you want to Yoga. I love it. I actually own a copy for the PS4 and one for the switch. However, I bought the switch version for portability. Now I can Yoga normally on TV, but when I go visit someone for a couple days, or on a trip, I can take the switch and continue my training. I admit, the screen is too small to see properly on tabletop mode while you are doing the movements. However, if you already do it everyday, you more or less know how the movement goes, so you can follow along just fine while she tells you when to breath and when to start and when to stop. I recommend playing this without the joycons. You can't yoga with a controller in your hand and it would just stress you out. You can choose to not use it. The thing I like the most about this is the customization. Sure, there's free youtube videos...But with Yoga Master you can choose your own programs, which positions you do and in which order, for how long. It also helps a lot that there's nice relaxing music on the background and honestly although the voice is a little robotic I do appreciate that she doesn't talk a lot like youtube instructors. The graphics are pretty bad, however if you choose the desert island with sunny morning it actually looks pretty decent and helps set the mood for a relaxing yoga session. I do wish I could make the lenght of the positions a bit longer, however I get around this by telling it not to autostart. So it waits for a button press before going to the next position. That way when I want a little more time I can have it. You can also use some ready made programs and there's an option where you can set how sedentary you are and it makes up a program for you. Overall, it got me into yoga and it relaxes me, so I think it's great. Only thing I REALLY wish it had is an option for more detailed instructions. This training will not tell you the caveats each position has. Like: don't bend the spine while you do this. Things a real trainer would say. However, I did this: began with yoga master, got into yoga, learned the basics, then I use youtube to learn the positions in more detail. Then you go back to Yoga Master, make your custom program and yoga looking at a nice beach background with nice music, respecting your pace and with no one talking all the time. Expand

I personally have a fair amount of yoga experience and also have subscriptions for two yoga apps. This is the one of the best of all: carefully crafted movements, nice relaxing music and programs ranging from 10 minutes to almost an hour. Yoga apps tend to be overwhelming, and give you more stress in choosing the excersize. This yoga ‘game’ is not.

For $25, it's really a decent way to get your yoga routine going (or keeping up with one during a mandated stay-at-home order). I like the customization of the practices and the variety. There were a lot of poses I hadn't seen before so that was definitely cool.

The English localization is... not great. Still, it's yoga so you can follow the images if not the odd turns of phrase and poor spelling.
Speaking of both of the above, I was caught off guard when the program told me I was "Bad" at a pose. I mean, I was expecting feedback but wasn't expecting negativity in a mindful practice. I decided not to use the Joy-Con to track after that.
If you're used to flow yoga, this might not be for you. There's a lot of returning to an initial position (usually mountain pose) before doing the next pose.

All in all, though, it's more bang for your buck than a yoga DVD or other video-based practice.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It lacks game options, loading Times kind of get in the way, and exercise lenght is too short. This is as good as a youtube video routine to be honest. If you want to save money just follow youtube routines. This has a cool feat that lets you know how many Times youve practised. Forget joycon mode because most poses dont feel.right using thé joycon. If you're realy wanting to buy this wait for a sale. Good effort though. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is trash. Even though I'm doing all the moves correctly, The game STILL marks me wrong. I'm doing a good workout, but WHAT? It does have good music, and view, but the implement is SO BAD, it totally ruins it. Loading's in the way, and exercises are WAY short. This is worse than Youtube yoga exercises. If you ask me, don't waste your money and use Youtube tutorials. BOOM. Expand
