Jul 20, 2022Prob around 7 tops. You literally walk around collecting things in order to make spells. There is some novelty to it however by the time you get to the late stages of the game it gets a little ridiculous. Shame as the graphics, dialogue and mini-stories that make up the game are all well done. Instead of giving the game more depth you spend almost ten hours picking up stuff…

Dec 10, 2021I played this game for 5 hours straight for two days now. The first day it crashed twice. The second day it crashed three times. The second time it erased a hours worth of progress and the third time it crashed and erased three hours worth of progress. The game is super fun, but seems like it's currently unplayable on switch.

Dec 13, 20214 crashes in 2 days, each ate hours of progress. Reset to pre-spinning wheel fix (ram) losing fully complete Rat, Cat, and Ram quests. Tried porting to "save" frequently. So crushed because it's a wonderful game, but fully, heartbreakingly unplayable on switch.

Dec 22, 2021Wytchwood is a crafting game, through and through — and a good one. It smartly puts its focus purely on the act of gathering materials to create a wide range of objects, with little else to distract from the core crafting mechanic. It’s backed up by a great soundtrack and a reasonably well-told but ultimately forgettable tale as you trawl through the various areas searching for ingredients. Trying to locate specific items can at times feel exhausting and drags down the pacing of the game, and the gorgeous visuals are unfortunately hampered by a slight frame rate jitter. Ultimately though, Wytchwood is a relaxing and addictive jaunt into the world of crafting.
