Apr 18, 2018Average platformer. Colorful, if dated graphics. Simple concept. Get the berries, get the water drops, complete the stage. Do it 7/8 times and you win.
For people looking to 100%, plenty of achievement guides (and exploits) to easily get you there. -

Apr 18, 2018Why do I recommend it?
Well, it's very pleasant. WTA is a fine change of pace from sadistic games like Wings of Vi. You don't have to worry about dying horrifically every five seconds just to reach the next checkpoint (where you'll die even more). Your only mission in this game, is to hop around and be at peace. -
Apr 9, 2018I'm kind of on the fence about this one. It's price makes it somewhat decent while the gameplay isn't really anything special. I think a 4/10 suits this game well. While it's story is fine, its main objective is stupid. Collect apples to get better weapons and unlock the same world but with a different layout. This game is bland as Fortnite but executes it better and dare i say funner.

Mar 6, 2018This game is certainly playable compared to other offerings on the eShop; I would delegate it to especially patient children or adults who appreciate a game that looks like a project someone made to graduate.

Aug 17, 2023This game is very ugly and low effort but I still had fun. This game is often in sale so buy then, if you dont have anything else to waste money.

Oct 22, 2018Woodle Tree Adventures Deluxe is not one of those extremely broken, still-in-alpha kind of indie games, but it's definitely a surprisingly low effort one. Those looking for a very cheap 3D platformer should probably look elsewhere... and not wait on its sequel.
-
Apr 23, 2018Woodle Tree Adventures has potential but fails to ever realise any of it. The paint-by-numbers approach that has been taken to make this 3D platformer results in a game that feels more like a proof of concept or prototype rather than something that you would happily pay for.

Jan 5, 2018Even with extra content and performance enhancements, a frustratingly limited camera and lack of variety reduce Woodle to a cheap and cheerful but flawed and basic 3D jump and collect-athon. While its cute and whimsical charm and uncomplicated nature make it suitable and accessible to younger audiences, there are still plenty of contemporaries on the eShop that are more accomplished and polished. While adequate considering its price, it's nonetheless an idyllic yet simple little game.
