    It's a really great game, hard to master too. It is as intense as any fighting game there is.

    I felt through this masterpiece the developer's passionate love for the heritage of the original title. Windjammers 2 is something everybody has to play at least one time. The unique vibe of its universe, the well-balanced learning curve easily could make it the best fighting game you ever played. The new maps had designed with a lot of creativity and the new gameplay mechanisms help youI felt through this masterpiece the developer's passionate love for the heritage of the original title. I had the fear three new buttons will push this game towards too much complexity but now I feel these things are needed to feel I play the same game but with so much fresh blood in it. The original game was fast-paced but this one is rolling lightspeed. The comix-like art is fantastic and timeless. Casino, 4 point floor, and Hurricane Max are my favorite new experiences. More stories or backgrounds for these fantastic characters could be good DLC content.… Expand

    I kept hearing complaints that this was "basically just pong", but my complaint is that it isn't basically just pong. If you try to pick up and play this game, you will be confused. The instructions aren't clear or good. I'm sure with time I can enjoy this game more but in general I wish I had my money back.     Windjammers 2 è un arcade puro con un gameplay solido e divertente. Dotemu è riuscita a preservare quella natura arcade degli anni ’90 immediata e adrenalinica. Proprio come nell’originale. Come dicevamo prima, la campagna è composta da 5 stage più dei bonus. Dotemu con questo seguito ha cercato di essere il più fedele possibile all’originale, con una veste grafica nuova e con qualcheWindjammers 2 è un arcade puro con un gameplay solido e divertente.     Unfortunately this is kinda boring. It’s not the kind of game you can pick up and play with friends because the controls take too much getting used to. It might have been a classic in the 90s but times move on and it gets old quick.

    Windjammers 2 is an addictive 1v1 arcade game that is perfect for esports or your own little rivalries. The tight gameplay and controls expand on the original, and if you find an opponent close to your own level, you'll experience a ton of great matches. There isn't much that you can do outside of some bot matches and local play. Online features are available, but during our testing period, it was almost impossible to find an opponent, much less one who wouldn't immediately obliterate us. That doesn't make Windjammers 2 less good, but it does limit how much of that goodness you can experience. If you have a few capable friends or want to try it on another console, Windjammers 2 is the perfect 1v1 game to play and obsess over in a friendly rivalry.

    Windjammers 2 is a playable ode to the original arcade game that relies on its multiplayer and renewed artwork to offer us a truly addictive proposal. Unfortunately, its lack of ambition, by not betting on including new game modes, prevents the game from taking advantage of its full potential.
