A fun collection of microgames that adds an interesting story mode and a big roaster of playable characters. If you love the WarioWare series, this is one of the most inventive entries ever made. [Recommended]

A certain party-playing crowd will overcome the awkward bits and have a blast. Most won't. Rent, don't buy.

There's lovely stuff here, enough to offer that potholing sense of antic richness which is always part of the WarioWare deal. What words to use for a game like this? Capsule toys abound in the menus, as ever, but what this really reminds me of is the days when cereal used to come with a little plastic doodad of some kind in it to tempt you to buy it, and you'd buy it and then thrust your hand down into the packet, past the crispies or flakes or whatever they were, with no idea quite what delight you would find. Brilliant! And in WarioWare's case, panic inducing. But in a good way. [Recommended]

Playing WarioWare reminds me how, and why, I became a critic. It was by playing hundreds of games for two hours each, regardless of tone or genre. My grandmother, and her parallel love of movies, let me touch an entire Family Video’s worth of weird and messy art. My colleague John Walker recently asked if there’s any kind of video game I don’t play, and I told him no, there isn’t. Games I don’t like are still interesting, and still worth my time and energy.

WarioWare has always succeeded because it’s weird and easy to pick up. WarioWare: Get It Together! is loaded with the same silly charm, charisma, and random nonsense as the rest of the series. Tonally, it’s exactly what I want from the Wario branch of Nintendo. But Get It Together! gets in its own way, and mitigates one of the series’ best features: simplicity.

I understand that the devs want to introduce the multiple-character setting to give the player more possibility, but there are too many duplications, and it is not well balanced. The story mode is also shorter and easier than its predecessors. Full Review »

This game could be fun alone (more fun than Mario Party) and also much more fun with co-op friends (but less fun than Mario Party). CollectingThis game could be fun alone (more fun than Mario Party) and also much more fun with co-op friends (but less fun than Mario Party). Collecting prezzies and leveling up character could take a lot of time. Multiplayer is ok. Its a fun distraction/refreshing from my usual heavy driven story games.

However I don't like the half-hearted voice acting from Nintendo. Sometimes, there's subtitles but no voice. I heard Japanese ver solve this...

Not a must play, but definitely worth checking out.
