Thus, the people responsible for "Tunnel of Doom" created an interesting, but unfortunately too short game. The mixture of tower defense, puzzles and intense battles makes the game a good title for in between. The controls are quick to pick up and graphics can gradually leave a positive impression. Although the sound sounds good, but unfortunately there are only three tracks. If you wouldThus, the people responsible for "Tunnel of Doom" created an interesting, but unfortunately too short game. Overall, Tunnel of Doom is a fun little rogue-lite that mixes up its gameplay in a way I’ve not seen before. Sadly, it is fairly basic and doesn’t have enough in it to keep you entertained for a long period of time.

As an action/rogue-lite hybrid, Tunnel of Doom offers plenty of playtime and random arrangements to provide some uncertainty and challenge (no simple pattern memorizing). It’s hurt by little variety, almost no story to engage the player, and limited visuals, but it isn’t a bad option if you want a game to while away some time in darkened mine tunnels.

Tunnel of Doom passes the time well enough, but it doesn’t do much more than that. While its blend of elements is interesting at first, it often undercuts its own ideas and ultimately ends up being very repetitive. Too many of the encounters can be handled with the same simple strategy, and it’s rare for the game to show any real teeth. A bit of story could have served as an extra carrot, but the game has little to offer in that regard as well. It’s worth taking a trip or two through, but it lacks the necessary elements to keep you coming back
