Sep 5, 2023Ari Pulkkinen again caresses my ears with this wonderful music, artists delight my eyes with incredibly beautiful landscapes, and familiar characters make funny jokes and go on yet another adventure. Great game

Sep 6, 2023It was great to return to the world of Trine, fairy-tale setting, pleasant music.
A very nice prologue at the very beginning with an outline of the story.
As for me, a game worth checking out for every fan of puzzle platformers. -
Sep 6, 2023I can't believe that critics gave it such a low score. This is 10 out of 10 experience for me. Literally every frame is overflowing with love and diligence that has been put into it. Music, art, characters, puzzles. Seriously Play it.

May 24, 2024This fifth chapter is not a reboot, rather an experience that focuses on what Trine does best: fun and creative challenges. Trine 5's puzzles are a delight to tackle, and the game's slick level design allows the players to adjust them to the desired difficulty and approach them in different ways, while rewarding players that make the effort to explore more and more of the game's world. The co-op experience is a marvel too, as it opens new possibilities for solving specific puzzles. Trine 5 is without a doubt a game that the fans of the series and of adventure games with puzzle-solving will embrace.

Oct 18, 2023Trine 5 is more of the same, though based on how the series’ fans have received it so well perhaps that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It stands to reason that if you liked the previous Trine games, you’ll still like this one, and that probably goes double if you’ve got three friends to play with. Unfortunately I don’t have three friends to play with, and I can’t deny the dull and frustrating experience I had with it. Between poor puzzle design and combat that doesn’t seem to belong in the game, there was simply nothing in Trine 5 that didn’t feel like a waste of time.

Sep 1, 2023Trine 5 is an utterly enchanting and charming game, that truly conjures up the same magic as its much loved predecessors. With a fantastical narrative, the return of lovable characters, and more puzzles than you can shake a wand at, it’s a brilliant couch co-op experience to enjoy alone or with friends.
