Jun 30, 2021While the telltale concessions of a Switch port are present, THPS 1 + 2 still delivers where it counts. These are two of the best games of all time, flawlessly remastered and ready to play anywhere at any time. What else can you ask for?

Dec 28, 2021Best skateboard game ever. Also for Nintendo Switch. Graphics don't so bad as at videos of gameplay on YouTube. It have lot of hours of interesting gameplay and level up your skills.
I can reccomed it. -
Nov 29, 2021Legitimately solid handheld port. Surprised it even runs at 30 frames on the Switch. Shadows could be smoother up close but that's about my only complaint. I own the PC version. I was pleasantly surprised by THPS on Switch.

Jan 1, 2022A portable version of a remaster of the most classic skating games that still plays buttery-smooth and is incredibly addicting and fun no matter what graphical costs were had! It still looks generations past the originals at any rate.

Jun 7, 2022It's a great port of a wonderful remake. This takes what's best about classic Tony Hawk and gives it a very modern vibe. The item market system is the only problem for me, but I guess that's the gaming world we live in now.

May 6, 2022Perfect. Exactly as I remember it, just prettier. Don’t like the PS4 visuals, so switch version actually feels closer to PS originals. Also perfect for on the go - do a quick run - put the switch to sleep. Perfect match of form and hardware

May 22, 2022Awesome port for the Switch. Being able to play THPS on the go, is fantastic. If the gameplay mechanics didn't feel a tad bit outdated, this game would be a 10.
-
Aug 14, 2022It is the best game of all time in my opinion, with 2 classics in full hd. It has Tony Hawks Pro Skater (1999) and Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 (2000)

Nov 23, 2022Excellent game. Best portable skateboarding experience.
Great soundtrack
I hope for a TH underground remake for switch -
Aug 25, 2023Easy to pick up and play, just like the original versions. Nostalgic soundtrack. Graphics are surprisingly decent on the Switch port, and gameplay matches the originals too. The best skating game on Switch (by far!).

Nov 29, 2021Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 on the Nintendo Switch is a fantastic port. Sure, it's graphically inferior and not as pretty to look at, but that's the only noticeable concession made to get it to run on Nintendo's beloved hybrid console. That's not to say it's being rendered in "potato mode," by the way - it still looks great for what it is, with each real-life skater clearly distinguishable despite the lower pixel count. With the outrageously impressive amount of content and extremely rewarding gameplay loop, there's nothing to stop this port being a solid recommendation for Switch owners.

Sep 4, 2021Vicarious Vision’s love for this franchise is clear throughout each tour of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2. Controls are precise, gameplay is addicting, there is plenty of content and really well designed levels are complemented by a wonderful soundtrack. It’s only such a shame that the Switch version does not hit the performance targeted by the series for almost two decades now.

Aug 19, 2021Tony Hawk's Pro Skater has found its way to the Nintendo Switch and we couldn't be happier about it. Both games lend themselves perfectly to brief sessions, which works well with this handheld console. There are some visual downgrades, yes, though as far as gameplay is concerned, the titles play as well as they ever have. Sincerely recommended.
