Colorful and dynamic game. Very good gameplay mechanics. I gives a lot of fun.

Loading up Together, aside from there being an obvious provision for cooperative play I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Unfortunately, having played it both solo and a bit with a friend I can’t say that it inspires a sense of a lasting impression. While it certainly likes to make use of color quite a bit visually the gameplay itself is quite bland, featuring a somewhat mushy jump andLoading up Together, aside from there being an obvious provision for cooperative play I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Unfortunately, having played it both solo and a bit with a friend I can’t say that it inspires a sense of a lasting impression. While it certainly likes to make use of color quite a bit visually the gameplay itself is quite bland, featuring a somewhat mushy jump and generally weak melee attack action. You’ll meander through levels, defeating enemies, picking up assorted power-ups, hopefully discovering a variety of hidden areas, and then truthfully you’ll move on to something else. As a budget offering expectations can’t be incredibly high but there’s just not a lot here to get excited about.

Together is a unique platformer, offering fun and laughs in co-op mode. The gimmick wears off if you’re not super into platformers or you don’t have a strong partner. The difficulty could put off casual players, but If you’re looking for something challenging that’s a little different, check it out.

Sloppy collision detection and tepid attacks mean that you’re going to be taking a lot of unexpected hits. There’s a bit of wiggle room thanks to your character having a life meter, but if you run out you’ll be punted all the way back to the start of the often lengthy stage. I’ve played far worse, but I can’t find much enthusiasm for Together, especially so if you mean to play it solo.
