In Thief: The Dark Project Remastered, Nightdive Studios brings back the pioneering 3D stealth game from Looking Glass Studios. Described by its developers as a “first-person sneaker,” the 1998 title challenged norms with its non-confrontational gameplay at a time when most first-person games prioritized combat.
Remastered with Nightdive’s KEX Engine, the release includes Thief: The Dark Project and the additional missions, content and updates from the 1999 Thief Gold re-release. Explore unscripted, maze-like levels with advanced NPCs, who can hear, speak, and sound alarms if you make a wrong move. Each mission includes 3 difficulty settings with different objectives for maximum replayability.
