    Want payday 2 on the switch but you cant afford it and want to just go stealth? This is the choice for you! Lots of cars to steal, items and you can even heist a godamm bank.

    This game COULD have been excellent. It really does give you an exciting, free opportunity to thieve people's homes, to level up skills and to buy the equipment you would need for the next challenge. However, I can only give it a 2 rating for one fundamental flaw: you can never really know when you are being compromised, so your sneaking and stealth counts for nothing. In that case it makes the game unplayable and pointless. For example: one aspect of stealth is staying in a crouched position and staying in the shadows. I decided to return to one house I'd already burgled; one I was discovered in even though nobody was at home; the cops turned up anyway because some psychic pedestrian outside noticed me (I assume). I turned up at night, observed the tenants, and noticed one in the living room and the other take a turn into the back garden. I went into the back garden very carefully (after picking the garden gate lock - do people actually lock garden gates?) and there was the female tenant just standing, statue-like by the window with her back to me. What was she doing? I stayed crouched and in the shadows. She then turned around and walked back the way she came. As soon as she left the garden the cops turned up and shouted "Freeze!". I understand that calculated risk is an important element of a challenge in gaming, but simply trying to guess the psychic powers of NPCs in games with pitiful AI is just not conducive to enjoyable gaming.     I honestly liked it. Of course there are many glitches, sometimes it's way too simple(there is also hard mode, did not tried that) but it kept me interested, has a lot of new achievements, tools to unlock, different kind of missions to complete.. at the end I was dissapointed of the extended story.. was way too simplistic, but it a great game for cheap price. Simple and all about Thieving,I honestly liked it. Of course there are many glitches, sometimes it's way too simple(there is also hard mode, did not tried that) but it kept me interested, has a lot of new achievements, tools to unlock, different kind of missions to complete.. at the end I was dissapointed of the extended story.. was way too simplistic, but it a great game for cheap price.     Probably the worst game I've ever played. Could've been fun if the developers thought about how the game would play/function on the switch, but alas it feels terrible to control. Game design is clunky at best, left me feeling frustrated. I would be angry if I'd paid full price, but I picked it up for $3. Hardly even worth that price.

    I really wanna give this game a higher score. It has a lot going for it. Unfortunately, its so buggy I can't bring myself to give it anything above 4/10. If ALL of the bugs were fixed, it would probably be either a 7/10, maybe even 8/10.

    The premise has potential, but the execution just isn't there. The game lacks heart. The gameplay loop is repetitive. The mechanics are wonky. Overall simply not very good.

    En thief simulator como su nombre indica encarnas a un ladrón y tu misión como probablemente te imaginas es ir por ahí apropiándote de lo ajeno, lo cual puedes    No hay muchos juegos que te pongan en el lugar de un ladrón, lo hemos visto en algunos videojuegos, pero nunca lo había visto como mecánica principal y déjenme decirles que se siente de lo mejor, aunque suene un poco raro.

    En thief simulator como su nombre indica encarnas a un ladrón y tu misión como probablemente te imaginas es ir por ahí apropiándote de lo ajeno, lo cual puedes realizar en diversos escenarios que son mundos semiabiertos; existen muchas cosas por robar, teléfonos, televisores, sartenes, vasos, dinero, videoconsolas, entre otras cosas de menor tamaño siempre y cuando tengas espacio en tu inventario pero no solo te permite realizar este tipo de apropiaciones sino que también más grandes tales como automóviles, entre otras cosas, obviamente siempre y cuando no te pille la policía.

    Una vez tienes los artículos que robaste puedes venderlos en diversas localidades, como una casa de empeño, una chatarrería o por internet. En cada una de estos sitios te darán una cantidad determinada de dinero según el artículo que lleves.

    El dinero que obtienes lo puedes gastar en diversas cosas ya sea información acerca de las localidades y puntos de interés para hacer más fáciles los robos o comprando artículos los cuales te permitirán acceder a nuevas localidades e interactuar con otras cosas, con el fin obviamente de robar cosas más caras y mejor pagadas.

    Cómo no podía faltar el juego tiene una serie de misiones secundarias las que consisten en robar un determinado objeto o realizar una determinada acción (como podría ser romper alguna ventana o espiar a la gente en sus casas) como tal no hay una historia principal, aunque si una serie de misiones principales las cuales debes ir realizando para obtener nuevos objetos y localidades, así como habilidades del personaje ya sea correr más rápido o escalar algunas superficies, entre otras.

    Thief simulator es un excelente juego para pasar el rato, aunque en algunos momentos se torna un tanto repetitivo y monótono, en el apartado audiovisual no innova mucho y la repetitividad afecta la clasificación que le coloque aunque lo más importante del título es la premisa la cual sí que logra.    … Expand

    It’s a great game. A little bit repetitive, but that’s ok cause you’re stealing and pretty much that’s what’s up : trespassing and looting. Stealth is very important. Don’t know why such bad reviews and ratings. Don’t believe the hate. Overall is always fun for a couple of hours. There’s a lot of loot and items to grab and sell.

Despite an awkward disassembling camera, the amount of things you can do in this game is incredible. The recent add of the new neighborhood spices things up! Too bad you cannot steal motorbikes though!… Expand

    I'm guessing most people have reviewed an early version of the game or have just had really bad luck, but I've found a lot of enjoyment from the game, putting 16 hours into it so far. It had interested me back when Vinny from Vinesauce played it 2 years ago, but I never really got around to getting it until I got this version on Switch 2 weeks ago. I got it while it was on sale for $1.99,I'm guessing most people have reviewed an early version of the game or have just had really bad luck, but I've found a lot of enjoyment from the game, putting 16 hours into it so far. I got it while it was on sale for $1.99, but would have gladly paid the full price. The gameplay loop is enjoyable, the skill tree (although simple) encourages you to pull off bigger heists, the little ways you can maneuver around tenants and "Skyrim" your way over some fences and other minor things enhances it to me. I haven't had any crashing or major bugs except for an instance where a police officer warped towards me, but they fixed that in the last patch they rolled out and haven't had it happen yet. The minigames when you're cracking codes or hacking is really interesting too (although again, quite simple). It also has a big of Car Mechanic/My Summer Car type of stuff except your actually TAKING off the parts instead of putting them all. All in all a fun game if you're into "Simulator" games.… Expand

    My score is considering the fact that I got this game on sale for $2 on the online Nintendo store, and the normal price was $20. With that said, I've been playing that game for the past few days, and it's quite a lot of fun. There's not a whole lot to do, but what there is was done pretty well. I'm sure it'll become one of those games I randomly play for a few hours when I'm bored.     This game sucks. Terrible graphic, idk what am i doing wrong in lockpicks. On pro controller with no reasons my character is going backwards so i have to play on joycons. Some textures are not loading in time. Repeatable robs. I am so lucky that was on sale so i waste only 2$.

    A terrible port of a otherwise good game. Stay away. It's a buggy mess. I don't know how Nintendo let this thing hit the shelves. Get the Steam version and spare yourself the frustration.

    On steam it was short but sweet. On Switch - it's pure garbage. They are lucky you can't refund games on Nintendo...
    Stay away.

    At first it was buggy and it crashed like every 30 min and it wasn't the complete version of the game but recently the game update and it looks better they fixed the crashes and now it's the complete version of the game

    Thief Simulator is a good game game play wise, although some mechanics are annoying its still fun, but when you look deeper you see the cracks. The game randomly crashes for me in loading screens and the graphic is terrible for a switch game and its not optimized a lot. If you don't hate random crashes or weird AI and bugs i would recommend that you buy it in a sale like i did, but for theThief Simulator is a good game game play wise, although some mechanics are annoying its still fun, but when you look deeper you see the cracks.     The AI is terrible and there are weird glitches like cop cars clipping into houses and random objects pushing you out into the open, but all in all I just really enjoy the game and that's all that matters.

    i liked this all tho i have to admit the controls are a bit clunky u get used to em at the second house u rob.
    And theres, a lighting glitch that makes everything dark for a few seconds.

    I payed £1.70 for this game this weekend. While some of the game is buggy it has to be said that it has kept me entertained for hours.
    Sure it's not perfect and the graphics aren't the best but going into it without breaking the bank I got passed all of the small issues and just enjoyed it for what it is.

    Cheap at time of purchase
    Lots of houses to rob
    Lots of gadgets to unlock
    Quick loads into different game environments (20 secs max)
    Lots of fun so far (About 6 hours playtime)

    Cons:
    Sometimes crashes during loading
    Buggy initial lock picking skill
    Controls not really responsive in certain scenarios (concentrating on an object i.e camera at a distance)

    All in all paying as little as I did really makes this game worth it in my book. I wouldn't pay anymore than £10 after playing but a bargain at £1.70!!    … Expand

    Кошмарные отмычки. Слегка подлагивает, но отмычки это п*здец!!!!!!!!!!!! 10 отмычек использовал-не попадаю никак. Когда в игре Skyrim всё отлично.

    There's a lot of promise with this game, but it's just too buggy and the mechanics are inconsistent. I can't count the amount of times I was caught by the cops while trying to drop a TV out of a window while escaping. I thought it was a bad port but it looks like the PC reviews aren't that much better.

    The game is really fun but no matter what i do i can't break 112's window. It's frustrating, it's not like I'm doing something wrong, i simply have to take out my crowbar and interact with x... BUT WHEN I DO THAT NOTHING HAPPENS. I can't progress in the game because of thais stupid glitch

    Thief Simulator n’est pas un mauvais jeu. Ce qu’il propose est plutôt inédit et bourré de bonnes petites idées dans le concept de l’infiltration. Le principal problème c’est que le titre devient très vite redondant et, à part pour les adeptes du 100%, on ne sera pas forcément tenter d’y revenir. Le titre a quand même assez de qualités pour servir de base à un deuxième opus quiThief Simulator n’est pas un mauvais jeu. Ce qu’il propose est plutôt inédit et bourré de bonnes petites idées dans le concept de l’infiltration. Le principal problème c’est que le titre devient très vite redondant et, à part pour les adeptes du 100%, on ne sera pas forcément tenter d’y revenir. Le titre a quand même assez de qualités pour servir de base à un deuxième opus qui transformerait l’essai. C’est quand même très étonnant de voir Thief Simulator sur Switch, et au vu de la qualité du portage (bon ok, techniquement ce n’était pas trop dur…), son achat, de préférence en solde, pourrait être une bonne occasion de bousculer son backlog.… Expand

    Whatever fun there is to be found in Thief Simulator is buried beneath layers of nonsense and bad design. It’s not hard to imagine this being a fun game in the right hands, like a less bloody version of Hitman — but it’s painfully obvious that this game wasn’t made in the right hands.

    If you’re tired of Payday 2’s often loud and at-large robbery antics – and you’d like to take a detour into the more quiet vocation of thievery – Thief Simulator has the new career for you. While it’s not the prettiest of games and it soon starts repeating itself, the sense of freedom you’re given to rob neighbourhoods full of unsuspecting victims is still an intriguing one. He might not be Garrett, but The Thief has plenty of skills to steal a place on Nintendo Switch.
