Oct 6, 2022Worth every penny you spend on it . Just like the other Trails series the battle system is nice . The story is rich and the graphic style of the game is great for any one who played JRPGs back in the day of PS1, PS2 and other handheld system . For any one new to JRPGs you won't be disappointed.

Sep 30, 2022Excellent game. Durante and his team went off and did a fantastic job helping with the official translation. The Switch version is especially beautiful, on the go or docked, a good mix of modern and old school vibes. Can’t wait for the next edition of this series, one barrier at a time!! :’))

Oct 6, 2023Its narrative structures are very well implemented, and the characters' story arcs fit nicely with the overall plot, and its combat mechanics, group management and skills also stand out for all the right reasons. Overall, this is a very recommended game not only to those about to begin their journey in the Trails series but also to those already familiar with this universe.

May 30, 2023Not being content with being one of the most soulless products released under the Warner Bros. label, it is also extremely underwhelming from a technical point of view. Gotham Knights was originally developed as a multi-gen title, but PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions got cancelled. Despite this, the visuals underwhelm and fail to impress and manage to look worse than the last major Batman instalment released seven years prior. Capping at a mere 30fps might be excusable if this boasted the most cutting edge visuals on the market, but it manages to look cheap and dated. For a AAA production from Warner Bros., this should have been a visual tour de force, with top writing talent, and have evolved the gameplay to compete with its contemporaries. Maybe it can be salvaged over time with updates, but currently it's one of the most droll and sloppily designed triple-A products of 2022.
