A very boring game. The puzzles are ludicrous, ridiculous, senseless and utterly frustrating. How are you gonna know how to combine this and that out of nowhere. The hints don’t help too much. I hit invisible walls too many times and had to use a guide more than a handful of times. Which took the fun out the window. Visuals are not that great and the sound sometimes gets distorted. Very annoying. Poor game design. Very low budget .The puzzles also took a long time to solve and took away all the immersion of the story. You feel completely lost with the story after working with this stupid puzzles . It’s badly designed in all the senses. Also did I said it , the story is very boring and flat. Expand

The Dark Eye: Memoria is a fitting to sequel. It continues the story well improving on it in every way. There isn’t too much progress in regards to gameplay, however the new character helps add new layers to an already great format. If you enjoyed the first one, this is a must play.

While the strength of these intertwined stories might not be enough to recommend Memoria to everyone, it’s still a well-made and engaging point-and-click adventure that will be an easy sell to fans of the genre.

The Dark Eye: Memoria is a great representation of a classic point-and-click adventure that is heavily steeped in The Dark Eye mythos. While the game should fulfill all your expectations for an adventure game you might fall victim to some of the game's puzzle frustration. Perhaps fans of The Dark Eye role-playing tabletop game can overcome this easier than an adventure game enthusiast.
