This is such an awesome update! The 2 new characters are fun to play, and both feel noticeably different to the other 7 characters. The survival mode has been really carefully designed and feels well-balanced. A complete run in this mode only takes around half an hour, which is the perfect play time for games in this genre. There is also lots of replay value as you permanently level up your characters each run to unlock new perks. I've been playing now for about 15 hours since this DLC released and I will keep coming back for more cheap thrills for as long as their are others around to play online with. Highly recommended! Ultimately, Dimension Shellshock extends Shredder’s Revenge in some smart ways, with some new characters to master and a highly-replayable new mode to enjoy. Sure, I’d love to see more characters and full-sized stages, but this is more than good enough to hold me over until what I hope is an inevitable sequel. Personally, I think it’s worth it just for either the new characters or the great survival mode, but both? Yes, that’s a win.

This has all the charm of the base game, but with a challenging new stand-alone mode that adds quality and value. The opening challenge won't be for everyone and those early runs can be pretty unforgiving, but once you see those unlocks rolling in and with an upgrade or two under your belt, you'll soon wonder why a Turtles roguelike hasn't been on your wishlist from the very beginning. With these added bells and whistles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is still totally tubular, dude.
