    A very fun and sweet game, that suffers from shortness. The clay mation story is amazing and sweet, and the game play is fun. The game is very short and you can beat it in 2 hours. Not quite worth the $9. Still, a very sweet game.

    Un bonito juego. Una historia bonita y me senti identificado con el personaje , esas emociones reales xp que sientes cuando desarrollas un juego. Y lo que es la hermandad muy bonita. La jugabilidad esta buena y el parametro de indicador de diversion es un buen punto para hacer un videojuego.Me encanta

    amazing game, characters and art are just on point, I only have two issues, the lack of choice and how short it is, I finished the entire game in under an hour, which was really sad I was enjoying the story a lot, they could add more creatures and give you the option to choose which creature to unlock next, as well as backgrounds and music, extra missions and skills could be added, it hasamazing game, characters and art are just on point, I only have two issues, the lack of choice and how short it is, I finished the entire game in under an hour, which was really sad I was enjoying the story a lot, they could add more creatures and give you the option to choose which creature to unlock next, as well as backgrounds and music, extra missions and skills could be added, it has so much potential.… Expand

    This game is simply charming. From the amazing claymation cutscenes which show off an older brother working hard for his younger brother to not only deliver a fun game for his little brother to play, but to also motivate him to do other things!

    The gameplay itself is simple and a lot of fun. You choose to send monsters to the direction of your little brother and have to make sure that    This game is simply charming.     The gameplay itself is simple and a lot of fun. You choose to send monsters to the direction of your little brother and have to make sure that he not only wins but has a fun time doing so! While you don’t directly control the played character, it’s your duty to make sure that he levels up accordingly and gets hurt just enough to make sure your little brother has fun!

    If I had anything ‘bad’ to say about this game, is that I wish it was a lot longer than it was! You will finish this game in a single sitting if you don't pace yourself. But once you start playing, it’s hard to put down!

    I score Takeshi & Hiroshi a solid 8 and hope that more will come eventually!    … Expand

While the game has an interesting twist on the RPG genre and has a charming style of puppet and claymation, the story feels rather rushed once you reach its end. In the end, Hiroshi expresses how much he doesn't want to go to school again, but that idea is not taken anywhere because after defeating the final boss, the game just ends after a short bit of dialogue. And when you fight the final boss, you have the choice to make the dragon remind the Hero (Hiroshi) that once he is beaten his fun game will end.

    "Do you really want to beat me? You really don't. Once I'm defeated, your life as a hero will die. Your fun little game will end! Geh heh heh... But you could stay. Just lose one more time! Stay here with me!" (Something among those lines.)

    And once Hiroshi defeats the dragon, his reaction is just... as if nothing happened. He just finished the game his brother made, the game that motivated to fight for his life against his sickness, and all he says is... "That was fun. Takeshi, you are great!" and then the credits roll. You would think I'm exaggerating and, to be fair, I am a tiny bit, but if you played through the final chapter, you'd be surprised how... dry the ending feels. It just doesn't let the story develop any further. What happened to not wanting to go to school? Is that really all you have to say, Hiroshi? And what happened to the relationship between Takeshi, Erika, and Yosuke? Is this really it? Hiroshi just says "Hey, nice game bro." and then the game just ends. No! Why end it like that?! In a game where the story is clearly such a big focus?! That's just not right! I understand that this is sold as a "short game" but being short doesn't excuse leaving the story in a half-assed way.

    Now, I'm a bit mad about that, but only because I really got to like the characters even with how short the game is, which is around two hours. I liked how Takeshi clearly wants Hiroshi to be the happiest he can be, I like how he at first refuses to ask Yosuke for help in developing his game, I liked how Erika is happy and annoys Takeshi. Yosuke felt a tiny bit flat as a character, but I liked how he interacted with Takeshi. It was really nice. I actually want to learn more about these people and what the future has in store for them, but OH WELL, guess I'll never know for sure.

    At the end of the day, Takeshi and Hiroshi is not a bad game, just a clearly unfinished one. If you'd like to try it out, it's on Apple arcade and most recently on the Nintendo Switch at 5,99$ and 9,99$ respectively. Unfortunately, I don't think this game is worth much money, so I recommend waiting for a sale or you playing it by using the 1-month free trial of apple arcade.    … Expand

    It takes about two hours to beat Takeshi and Hiroshi, but players will likely think back on its charming story and return to its leisurely levels quite a bit. From its straightforward yet engaging gameplay to its lovable characters and delightful story, Takeshi and Hiroshi proves that a little can go a really long way.

    While Takeshi & Hiroshi may immediately grab you with its charming art style, the game itself is sadly quite lacking. From start to finish, the player will feel like they are watching an interactive short film, completely removed from the world. Combined with the frustrating random elements and the lack of overall content, Takeshi & Hiroshi does not provide enough to warrant a recommendation.

    The low price is an incentive to give Takeshi and Hiroshi a chance, a work that in its brevity can thrill and involve, as long as you are predisposed to markedly narrative playful experiences.
