Oct 4, 2022Swim Out is a puzzle game that's difficult at times. There no text in the game which caused me to mistake what task was asking and spend too much time redoing a puzzle. I completed this game 100%. Portable mode has touch controls and controllers/joycons aren't required to be connected. Also, hints would've been nice.

Jun 6, 2018If you’re looking for a solidly-made puzzle game, you could do a lot worse than checking out Swim Out. It’s got more than enough content to keep you entertained for a good amount of time, and it’s relaxing enough that you can pick it up and play whenever you want without feeling like you’re going to get sucked in and lose a day. There are definitely better games out there, but, for any puzzle aficionado, Swim Out is worth a look.

May 26, 2018Swim Out is a simple, straightforward and unpretentious puzzle game that has no plot or narrative whatsoever and that features a very minimal aesthetic. This in no way means that Swim Out cannot do its job as a puzzle game, which it does quite well thanks to its unusual approach to puzzle games, which will prove enough to give players some hours of fun.

Apr 25, 2018Swim Out is a well crafted, relaxing puzzle game. What it lacks in innovation it makes up for in polish, the puzzles are well designed and the game never overstays it's welcome. Switch owners looking to scratch that puzzle itch would do well to go for a few lengths with Swim Out.
