    OK, thanks for nothing Nintendo. Actually the Super Mario Galaxy is UNPLAYABLE with Switch controllers. It was even hard to "Select File" at the beginning of the game. This "package" should be sold for around 5 bucks instead of a full game price. Shame on you!

    Great way to play the games on an HDtv. All 3 games are still fun to play till this day. However i wished they filled this collection with more stuff. I mean, is it so hard to make a little booklet or show some history in the ingame menu with video's and pictures of the making? I expected a little more.

    Before I start this review, I've never played Super Mario Sunshine and the original Super Mario 64.
    so having said that, let's get started.
    For someone who missed the original games, this is the ideal opportunity to finally play them (legally). The games play well and look good, partly because they have remastered the games in HD and that Super Mario Sunshine is now 16: 9. Super Mario    Before I start this review, I've never played Super Mario Sunshine and the original Super Mario 64.
    so having said that, let's get started.

    For someone who missed the original games, this is the ideal opportunity to finally play them (legally).

    The games play well and look good, partly because they have remastered the games in HD and that Super Mario Sunshine is now 16: 9. Super Mario Galaxy
    in particular looks so beautiful.

    But the point of criticism is that they have not made Super Mario 64 16: 9 and have not added / improved small things to the game. An example of this is that keeping up with the blue coins in Super Mario Sunshine is almost impossible. The camera in SMS isn't too good either.
    For Super Mario Galaxy, when you play with the Pro Controller, you have to shake hard before Mario makes his spin movement.
    And yes, too bad to see that Super Mario Galaxy 2 is not in the collection.

    Overall it is a beautiful collection with some pluses and minuses here and there, but I have a lot of fun playing them, hence a solid 8    … Expand

    This collection of games have its own issues: from lack of side content to missing mario galaxy 2, but we are playing not the collection itself: we are playing the GAMES that are in this package. mario galaxy, sunshine and 64 are fantastic games that deserves a higher resolution port to the switch. besides of lack of content, this package is amazing and worth your time

    The games themselves are good. SM64 is extremely outdated, Sunshine's controls feel pretty awkward and Galaxy is a straight up masterpiece.

    However, the compilation is very lacking and too expensive. Rare replay is an example of a good compilation.

    I like to think of myself as a hardcore gamer. I grew up on the Atari, NES, and Sega Genesis. Throughout the years, I've owned almost every console (sans the Sega Saturn and Wii U, although I don't feel I missed much with those). Some games you play for the story. Some you play for the gameplay. Others are a graphic fest.

    Super Mario 3D Allstars you play for the nostalgia trip overload. This collection is a love letter to the fans that grew up on Mario and I couldn't be more thrilled. I'm happy nothing was changed. What made these games in many ways was their character; bugs and all.

    I have to laugh at those who call the collection "Nintendo's worse" for them being emulated. I don't think many understand the technical challenge of getting an emulator up and running on the hardware the Switch boasts. Yeah, N64 really isn't that difficult, but the GameCube/Wii is a little different. I've played with my share of emulators, notably Dolphin (a well known GameCube/Wii emulator) and up until recently years (maybe the last five) it was unfeasible unless you owned a decent gaming rig with outstanding system specs. The fact that they got both Super Mario Sunshine and Mario Galaxy up and running with noticable upscaling enabled is impressive in itself.

    Lol. Did you really think Nintendo was going to rebuild all three from the ground up? Does anyone really understand what that would of entailed and cost? Let's talk about a nightmare of ripping assets from games and trying to craft a new engine for all three     … Expand

    Dont obey the bad troll fake reviews.
    The HD upscale of Super Mario Galaxy is a HUGE (!) upgrade to the Wii graphics. Also true for Super Mario Sunshine. Joycon motion control instead of WiiMote also is very good. Super Mario 64 could be a little smother though, framerate-wise. If they deliver SMG2 later on its a perfect 10. Cheers and thanks Nintendo for 2 awesome remasters!

    This collection has 3 of of the best 3d platformers ever made put into one. These games have never looked or played better than they do on Switch. The presentation is simplistic but effective in the menus, and it would have been nice to have a widescreen support on Mario 64. Otherwise, you are looking at the best (and legal) way to play some of the best games ever made, and on the go!

No se dejen llevar por la gente que de seguro nunca han jugado ni jugarán estos juegos y les duele que muchos de nosotros disfrutemos de estos juegos.

    Eu entendo que o clássico foi um jogo legal pra época. Mais è ridículo a Nintendo não ter feito nada pra melhorar os controles desse jogo ou aperfeiçoar os gráficos. Jogo lixo e controles super frustrante. Se puder alugue antes de comprar. Sinto que joguei meu dinheiro fora.

    What’s not to love about this? 3 full ports of superior classic with some minor tweaks and touch ups. I’m most stoked for Sunshine I’m widescreen. For all those complaining about price, and level of effort on Nintendo’s end - they did not have to do this. You do not have to buy it, enjoy the port on a better device that’s more accessible or get your N64/GameCube/Wii our and quitWhat’s not to love about this? 3 full ports of superior classic with some minor tweaks and touch ups.     3 masterpiece games in a bundle, how amazing is that? I didn’t hesitate one moment buying this and I have absolutely NO regrets!! Graphics are improved a little bit (HD) but no widescreen, yet still amazing

The graphics are the same, but the resolution are improved. The use of HD rumble is a cool touch. I like that in SMG the tutorial images are different to match the Switch, but still match the art style of the original.     3 of the best games of all time, not much more to say. The collection is bare bones, it includes the soundtracks for each game and some little tidbits of info, and the improvements are mainly resolution and some FPS stability, but the games are unmatched in the genre.

    En su momento no pude comprarme una n64, una gamecube o una wii por lo que en mi caso fue una gran oportunidad. 3 Juegos increibles lideres de cada una de su generación en materia de innovación y plataformeo. Para mi solo no es un 10 porque se podria haber pulido mas el Mario 64 y agregado el Mario Galaxy 2

    I would say overall this game is worth adding to your completion . It comes with three enjoyable games that run well and even have the option to listen to some of the beautiful music tracks.     This is just Mario Galaxy with two games as extras.
    Very nice to see Sunshine acknowledged by Nintendo and was given widescreen. Still as bugged out as ever.

    considero que en esta recopilacion se encuentran 3 de los titulos mas iconicos y maravillosos de la saga super mario y de los videjos juegos en general. si estan corriendo emulados pero eso no niega que no tengan un trabajo detras, aunque si pudo ser mejor. se trato de mantener la escencia de los juegos originales, pero hubiese sido bueno que dejaran escoger eso a los jugadores ya queconsidero que en esta recopilacion se encuentran 3 de los titulos mas iconicos y maravillosos de la saga super mario y de los videjos juegos en general. si estan corriendo emulados pero eso no niega que no tengan un trabajo detras, aunque si pudo ser mejor. se trato de mantener la escencia de los juegos originales, pero hubiese sido bueno que dejaran escoger eso a los jugadores ya que algunos sobre todos los nuevos jugadores exigen fps mas altos o en el caso de mario 64 la pantalla completa y la resolucion a 1080, y estoy de acuerdo, sin embargo eso no quita que por si solos estos juegos sean excelentes y pues juntos hacen de este titulo una autentica joya. su rendimiento es perfecto y se ven hermosos. queda de sobra decir que en lo jugable son juegazos con toda la ley. pero no es un titulo perfecto debido en mi opinion al precio. el precio sigue siendo muy alto aun despues de todo eso, sobre todo en latinoamerica. es muy dificil o imposible encontrar juegos en latinoamerica a su precio correcto. ademas del precio otro aspecto negativo es lo comentado anteriormente, cosas como la pantalla completa en mario 64 y poder ofrecer al jugador al menos la opcion de si querer o no jugar a 30 o 60 fps me parece inexplicable, ya que con sunshine si se aplico la pantalla completa y es mas que obvio que los dos primeros titulos pueden correr a 60 fps en nintendo switch. ademas como ultio punto otra cosa que hecho muchisimo en falta es mario galaxy 2 no puedes hacer un recopilatorio de juegos donde esta mario galaxy 1 sin poner mario galaxy 2, y quizas solo quizas haber incorporado este juego hubiese hecho que esos 60 dolares estuvieran mejor justificados y valdrian aun mas la pena, ya que aunque dije que me resulta caro no significa que piense que no valen al pena, es mas en lo personal para mi vale cada centavo pero eso ya es algo muy muy muy subjetivo. en resumidas cuentas, el juego ya solo por tener estso 3 titulos es un 10 pero debido a esos aspectos esque me es imposible darle de nota un 10 a este video juego, porque se que son cosas que si se podian hacer, mas sinembargo simplemente decidieron no hacerlas. espero lo disfruten tanto como yo lo estoy haciendo un titulo perfecto tanto para veteranos como nuevos en el mundo de los videojuegos y que sin duda debes jugar antes de morir.

    My personal issue is that they didnt use the ntsc version of mario 64 and that I already have galaxy and sunshine and backwards compatible wii and wii u to play them on. Had they released the ntsc version instead of the shindou edition i might be singing a slightly different tune. It's a real shame that they also didnt include mario 64 ds mario 3d land or mario galaxy 2.     First of all Nintendo of Europe ran out of physical copies and sent me a download version instead and refused to swap it later when they came back in stock or refund. (even though I cancelled the preorder 7 days before release).

    Positives - Its Mario 64, Odyssey and Galaxy.

    Negatives - 30fps for 64 and Odyssey.

They flipped (uninverted) the controls on Sunshine, without the option to play it the classic way with inverted controls.     This is exactly what I asked for, each game a console pushing masterpiece on its' coinciding hardware; running smooth and looking so clean. This is far from a lackluster port, sure, you can always ask for more. But, the fact that this exists is a testament to the staying power and influence of the Nintendo Switch. Thank you, Nintendo. ♥️

    It has 3 games for the price of 1 and some people here have the audacity to complain about being asked to pay "full price"! These are 3 great, high quality games, 2 of them undisputed classics, well worth the price. For someone who skipped the era between Super Mario World and Odyssey, these 3 games are a joy to discover and a joy to play.

Que no hayan realizado grandes cambios en el Mario 64 es porque habían problemas técnicos al hacer la pantalla panoramica, incluso en los emuladores se notaba el poping y problemas que daban a entender que este juego no estaba hecho para jugarse en este formato, ya que en sus tiempos de salida tenian muchas limitaciones y hacian lo que fuera para reducir los requisitos del jugo. En cuanto a la remasterización, esto depende de cada quien, esto se debe a que el publico al que va dirigido este producto es a nostálgicos que realmente quieren revivir experiencias y jugarlo lo más cercano y legal a como era entonces (sin pagar la fortuna que valen los cartuchos o discos de las consolas respectivas, ya que son de colección básicamente). También va dirigido a los que nunca tuvieron la oportunidad de jugar estos juegos y hoy en día quieren vivir esas experiencias. Para concluir, si de verdad odias esta colección, tú no eres el público al que va dirigido, entonces vete a criticar este juego a donde de verdad te presten atención o a alguien de verdad le importe tu opinión, exprésala pero con argumentos y con respeto. Nota: si vas a ver a Amazon cuanto cuesta cada uno de estos juegos individualmente se te volverán las ganas de comprar esta colección en ves de pagar la fortuna que ahí se te ofrece pagar.     Me parece una excelente colección, si se pudo mejorar, pero para mi me es suficiente, opino que la colección se pudo hacer mejor pero para mi me pareció muy buena, siempre quise jugar estos 3 títulos de mario y ahora puedo hacerlo en mi switch y con una mejor resolución.

Well the only down side to it is a typo in Super Mario 64 and they should have made it wide screen in that game but a side from that this collection is worth buying especially for Mario fans!

    Most of the complaints on here are borderline idiotic. You buy the port to play the games, you’re certainly acting entitled to think you should get extra features. Mario 64 and Galaxy are masterpieces. Sunshine is a fun little different game. If you expected more that’s on you worth every penny to play these games on Switch and on the go, legally.

    All 3 games looks beautiful in my 49 inch TV, many said this game is a crap just because they are emulated, but that emulation works is really goods, Mario 64 looks even better that I expected and this is the game I'm enjoying most.
    You can enjoy the soundtrack of all these 3 games with the switch screen off.

    Playing Mario 64 again on a hybrid console felt great and I will play through the other games. I don't like what Nintendo has done with the limited time to purchase the game, but I don't regret my purchase. Yes, you can play these games on an emulator for free, but that takes away from the Mario franchise. I paid to support Mario and to enjoy three games (two of which I haven't played) on a hybrid console. These games are old, but they're still fun.

    On Mario 64, the camera got frustrating at times because I couldn't look where I wanted to and I had to get creative. It also would have been nice to see it get the same love as Mario Sunshine so that it could fit the whole screen. It's a faithful remake, but I would have liked to have seen basic improvements to the game to make it more user friendly. It's annoying when you know what to do, but by golly, you either can't interact with the object immediately in front of you, or the ai doesn't move so you stand for a full minute, watching and waiting. However, that is for Mario 64. I expect that the next two games won't have the same problems.

    These games are great, clean fun. They are worth looking into, but soon won't be available (unless you buy off a third party looking to make a profit).

    I hope in the future, Nintendo offers bells and whistles for a limited time and then just the ports of the game in the future because what happened here took away from three great games.    … Expand

    La colección es lo que es y no intenta ser otra cosa. Es honesta, sencilla, y va al grano. Y lo más importante: trata con respeto a las obras originales. Habían un par de problemas de emulación en Sunshine que subsanaron con actualizaciones, y la opción de invertir los controles de cámara, así como la compatibilidad del mando de GameCube para Sunshine fueron implementados también en unaLa colección es lo que es y no intenta ser otra cosa. Es honesta, sencilla, y va al grano. Y lo más importante: trata con respeto a las obras originales. Habían un par de problemas de emulación en Sunshine que subsanaron con actualizaciones, y la opción de invertir los controles de cámara, así como la compatibilidad del mando de GameCube para Sunshine fueron implementados también en una actualización (y más recientemente, compatibilidad con el mando de N64 de Switch Online). Las pegas que podía tener han sido corregidas (excepto el puntero en Galaxy en modo portátil), y por tanto, la colección, por mi parte, pasa a merecer un 10. Es casi perfecta, es lo mejor que pudo ser. Había una clara visión con 3D All-Stars: adaptar juegos de tres consolas distintas, procurando que se sientan bien al jugar, lo más parecido posible a la experiencia original, y remasterizando ligeramente el apartado visual, que queda, una vez más, lo mejor que podía quedar. Ni 1080p para Super Mario 64, ni 60fps, ni el formato panorámico, como debía ser, a fin de aproximarse a las visuales y experiencia de juego originales. Si queréis jugar a Mario 64 con alteraciones tenéis emuladores gratuitos (ilegales, pero a quién le importa). Las quejas por estas nimiedades o porque no fueron remakes son meros lloriqueos de quienes no entienden en que consiste considerar los videojuegos como arte. Sí, son juguetes, pero juguetes artísticos, con intenciones artísticas. Mario 64 es Mario 64, y no puede ser otra cosa. ¿Queréis que Nintendo reinvente Mario 64? Ya lo hizo con Sunshine, Galaxy, Galaxy 2, 3D Land, 3D World, Odyssey y Bowser's Fury. ¿Queréis que Nintendo se cargue el legado de Mario 64? Ya lo hizo con su remake, Mario 64 DS.
