"SIACTRO have crafted yet another cute little 3D platformer that, whilst lacking in challenge, offers a bite-sized piece of nostalgia for fans of N64 era collectathons. Super Kiwi 64 shows off how well the developer can craft stages, and I really hope that they can build upon this in the future by creating a larger scale project. As it is though, this is still 40 minutes of enjoyable"SIACTRO have crafted yet another cute little 3D platformer that, whilst lacking in challenge, offers a bite-sized piece of nostalgia for fans of N64 era collectathons. As it is though, this is still 40 minutes of enjoyable gameplay for a very cheap price."

Fun and Nostalgia, at its purest. A must play for lovers of the N64 era. :)

Is a fun 3d platformer in the vein of super Mario 64 and banjo kazooie. While it may be short it does have a charm to it and will be a good purchase to put in your collection

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Honestly I'm pretty disappointed. Worse than the developer's previous offerings of the Toree series, while being three times the (admittedly low) price. Extremely short and quite same-y levels, of which there are very few, and cheat codes to find throughout the levels which can't even be entered until you've already gathered every collectible in the game, rendering the extremely boring model-swap, high-jump and first-person cheats completely and utterly pointless.

What I will give the game is that the mechanics make the short levels fun and easy to explore, and the graphics call back to the era of N64 collectathons perfectly.

Ultimately though, the game is extremely shallow and boring, feeling more like a tech demo than a full game to pay money for.

Like past SIACTRO titles, Super Kiwi 64 does have a lot of secrets and even has a password mechanic where players can play with other skins if they find the codes hidden in the levels. It isn't a deep game and, as mentioned earlier, it is over in about an hour. However, Super Kiwi 64 is a very pleasant and cathartic experience for anyone who grew up playing Nintendo 64 or for children who are learning to play 3D games. There are not too many obstacles, most threats aren't threatening, and Kiwi's mobility and tight controls make him manageable for neophytes.

Super Kiwi 64 is a 3D platformer that, true to its name, looks and plays exactly like the games we got on the real Nintendo 64 back in the late '90s. Just know that you'll only be getting one afternoon's worth of enjoyment out of this one, rather than the whole childhood weekend or more you enjoyed with its inspiration, Banjo- Kazooie, back in the day. Super Kiwi 64 is pretty decent overall and won’t hurt your wallet. That said, despite the many things working in its favor, it has a rough around the edges feel I didn’t expect. A patch may determine if this a game you go back to every so often or if it’s a one-and-done deal.
