I really enjoy this title. It's simple and refreshing considering the over-abundance of battle royales recently. Every match is rewarding and gameplay is clean on every platform. I do wish there was a way to redrawn your lost teammates somehow, but that's very minor.

Whenever you run into a free-to-play title it’s always a bit of a challenge to rake them over the coals when people could literally try them out and make their own decision for free. Still, since peoples’ time is also a premium, I suppose sharing some critical thoughts and compliments, when appropriate, is also in order. Still, since peoples’ time is also a premium, I suppose sharing some critical thoughts and compliments, when appropriate, is also in order. If you’ve played any battle royale titles (but especially Fortnite), just about every general aspect of the game should be familiar here. A standard map that a release craft will fly over, allowing people to pepper themselves about in search of gear and ammo, some urgency to keep moving since the safe area will continue to shrink with time, and everyone trying to survive. The only major differentiator happens to be the perspective, in this case adopting more of a top-down perspective rather than sticking to the first-person perspective, and that change moves the feel into being more of a twin-stick shooter. In principle I’d be a fan of this sort of change, since twin-stick arcade shooters are among my favorites out there, but for me the aim and all just feels a little off somehow. I can’t put my finger on it, and I’m sure with some time I could get used to it, but I was surprised with how inaccurate my shooting typically felt, and with as much as I play them that’s a bit disappointing. The result still gives you the tension and excitement for free, which is a plus, but at least for me the controls just don’t click in a way that would make it addictive enough to stick with for more than a few random rounds once in a while.

Super Animal Royale brings something new to the battle royale genre, namely an approach that keeps a frantic and action-packed gameplay while making its world accessible to all age groups by toning down the raw violence found in other similar games. The experience is marvelous for anyone who's looking for a thrilling time, especially with the added advantage of multi-platform crossplay.

With its kooky animal-battle royale concept, fast and addictive gameplay loop, and fair monetization systems, it’s difficult to not have fun with Super Animal Royale. Pixile Games has crafted a title that feels like a breath of fresh air in a genre that never seems to stop churning out new entries. Even if you’re like me, and sometimes shy away from battle royale games due to their inaccessibility, this is title definitely worth checking out. You never know, as with me, you may find yourself stumbling across a new obsession.

With its genetically modified super animals and original ideas, Super Animal Royale is a fun game that we come back to regularly. The fights are short, intense and perfectly suited for novice players who want to discover the world of Battle Royale. Loads are quick, so games can be played back and forth without the frustration of being knocked out. The map, well drawn, offers enough hideouts and various locations to surprise the opponent and climb to the top of the rankings. It is true that the absence of tutorials and the one and only map could be brakes, but these flaws in no way mar an experience worth discovering.
