It took me about 7 hours to finish all of the levels in the main campaign and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Strikey Sisters plays really well and is an inventive take on the Breakout genre. The special items are all really fun to use and they help to clean up those pesky few remaining blocks efficiently at the end of the level. This game is well worth your time.

I just play the demo version and can already tell it's a quality game. The gameplay is awesome and fun. The soundtrack is catchy and the graphics are polished for what they've intended. I think this game is a hidden gem if you like this kind of game (arcade style block-breaker).
It's a shame it doesn't have the fame it deserves. To be honest I just made a metacritic account to rate this

It's a shame it doesn't have the fame it deserves. To be honest I just made a metacritic account to rate this game. And of course I plan to buy it. Actually it's on sale (50% off) but I'll buy it even without the discount. So to finish I only want to say that you at least can try the demo to see if it appeals to you and thanks to developers for thinking in this somewhat dedead genre and adding something new to it.
P.D. also thanks to all developers who make demo versions. It's both good for the gamers and the games.
Update: I bought the game and finished it. It's amazing and the replay value is there because once you finish the main campaign there's extra levels. And also there's the challenges to complete the game at 100% and the multiplayer. So please try the demo at least. You won't be disappointed.

A really clever twist on the classic block-breaker game, if a little demanding on the higher difficulties but nothing insane.

Strikey Sisters is a simple game with a simple formula and a simple presentation...and it works: it's a fun, challenging and high-paced effort which gains an additional appeal in multiplayer and presents itself with a retro art style that fits its premise perfectly. Its plot moments could be dispensed with but they do not in any way interfere with the quality of the gameplay in this work.

Strikey Sisters is a good fun game, just in a very classic way. There are no frills to speak of, nor does there need to be. It harks back to the olden days of gaming in a very satisfying way and the combination of visuals and the soundtrack make for a good time all around. The co-op gives it a bit more in terms of replayability too. It is definitely worth a look, and it isn’t as creepy as the name suggests.

Strikey Sisters really feels like a game that should have been released 25 years ago, both in its unique blend of classic genres and its almost era perfect presentation. It really makes you wonder how it took people this long to make a brick breaking game like this. While this combination is plenty of fun, there are still a few gameplay mechanics that could use a little more polish and balancing to perfect the recipe. Still, it will likely deliver a lot of enjoyment for just about anybody who enjoys clever gameplay or well executed retro design ideas.
