The game is a lot of fun. There is a lot going on and there is a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it's a lot of fun and is challenging.

Ingenium invited me to be part of the advisor board for this game.
The game controls very well once you get the hang of it (doesn't take long, maybe a few minutes). Your screen can get kind of busy, so it can be difficult to keep track of everything sometimes. But this game is extremely fun when you play with friends! The music is very exciting and really adds to the fun of couch gaming

The sarcastic narrator/announcer is a very nice touch.

Game as a great party game. It's hectic but always seems to end up in a tight race to the finish. Much more of a platformer feel than a Tetris game but still challenging. Steep learning curve but worth it. I like the science facts.

StarBlox Inc. is a perfectly enjoyable action puzzler that manages to balance reflex-based gameplay with on-the-fly puzzle solving. The core gameplay loop doesn't have much in the way of depth, but it's easy to pick up, and fun to play, especially in groups of four. Unfortunately, no online means that StarBlox has no real shelf life in spite of a surprisingly decent single player campaign. If nothing else, this makes for a decent couch multiplayer alternative to Puyo Puyo and Tetris.

StarBlox Inc. goes for a mix between puzzler and brawler that while not entirely unprecedented, is certainly welcome in the Nintendo Switch, where puzzle games had been going through a period of stagnation. While its audiovisual environment isn't the most stimulating, the game is very fun and involving and its multiplayer component adds an additional layer of enjoyment to the experience.

StarBlox Inc. is a neat game, but with a big problem when it comes to explaining things. The game's tutorial drags and for gaming novices, the mechanics and strategy will really not come naturally. There are many little things that you need to keep in mind to give you the edge in battle. Once you get the hang of the proceedings, though, it can become a highly competitive experience with each side fighting for total domination. The battle and puzzle combo is quite an adorable one that runs quite well on Nintendo Switch.
