  • Summary: Spooky Ghosts Dot Com is a small metroidvania about a ghost hunter named Ruby. One Halloween night a ghost hunting job comes in, but it turns out to not be a regular gig! Explore the haunted mansion, take down some ghosts, battle spooky bosses, and rescue the lost cats!

    Quick and fun. Not much to this one, but for its low price and ease of play you're not gonna do much better anywhere else.

    It was really fun! I took a chance on it for 2.50 since it reminded me of Cave Story and I wasnt disappointed. The controls were tight, theIt was really fun! The difficulty is high, but never to the point of frustration. Runbacks are quick due to a lack of load times and a compact map. It's a very competent Metroidvania, which is honestly all you can ask for for only 2.50. However its not all great. The gun is slow firing, weak, and has basically no range. Worst of all, there's no way to upgrade any of those characteristics. It's also short, even for a Metroidvania, clocking in at only 2 hours for my first playthrough. Its a fun 2 hours, but if you're looking for something as beefy as Hollow Knight you're definitely not going to find it here. All in all however these problems are relatively minor, and I wholeheartedly recommend this game.… Expand
