Aug 6, 2023It's a Splatoon game. What more do you want? Very high quality fast-paced brightly coloured shooter game with a cartoon touch. A great multiplayer game, and really fun to play with friends. 8/10!

Jul 3, 2023Every positive review on this game is false. The weapon kits suck, camping is a bigger problem now more than ever, Grizzco doesn't work half the time, and the matchmaking is FAR worse! Nothing about this game is worth the stress or having to constantly put up with toxicity. The entire series needs to die, because nothing is getting better and Nintendo only cares about money.

May 28, 2023It's a really fun and time-losing game, but the downside is that Nintendo Switch Online is almost a must. You can play Nintendo Switch online without buying it, but it's not enough.

May 17, 2023Nice little game where you shoot squids with ink as a squid. Getting a kill feels satisfying and the campaign is also pretty nice. If you are looking to buy a splatoon game do not buy splatoon 3.

May 15, 2023I'll give this a 94%. This game is amazing! Trying out so many weapons is sweet! Playing Turf War is excellent because it gives you a good challenge on facing real players worldwide. I had lots of fun playing the story mode. When buying weapons, shoes, hats, and shirts, they can upgrade your character's stats. The Octo Expansion DLC provides a good challenge for me as well!

May 7, 2023Perfect example of Nintendos horrible online servers. Fun fact: they dont exist! This game uses P2P for online multiplayer which is horrible because the entire game dies if someone loses connection. I do like the new weapon types and the campaign is pretty fun but boring sometimes.

Aug 15, 2022Besides from a lacklustre single player experience (disregarding Octo Expansion), and clunky controls for a shooter, which utilise motion controls to greatly improve your accuracy. This is the most fun shooter on the Switch.

Jul 28, 2022I'm an outlier, but this game just does not appeal to me. There are a lot of things that I really respect from the series like unique character designs, good music, and a pretty cool competitive community. I do think most people will really like this game and get a lot out of it, just not me personally.

Jul 20, 2022Splatoon 2 is a sequel in the same way pickles are a sequel to cucumbers. It doesn't do much different from the first game but does leave me feeling salty.
It's a decent game, the story mode is okay and the multiplayer is okay. -

May 25, 2022Suffice it to say that in order to get into the player search grid, you need to wait 5 minutes for unskippable news, and the search for the players themselves is now taking another 3 minutes. To play once, you simply wait a minimum of 8 minutes. And the single player mode in this game is rubbish.

Oct 12, 2017Though never fun in real life, spilling ink all around is even more fun in Splatoon 2 than it was in the first game. Teaming up with your squid friends has never been better. But even though some weird Nintendo elements can drag the fun to a stall, everywhere that Splatoon 2 shines makes it a deserving heir to the original.
