Apr 14, 2025Do I recommend Sorry We’re Closed? A million times yes! If you like old-school horror games and miss the PSX era, then this game is just what you’re looking for. It’s got a Y2K flare combined with the darkness of familiar survival horror titles. On top of that, the storyline is engaging, the characters are likeable, the dialogue and relationships feel natural, and trying to uncover the mysteries of both worlds had me glued to my screen for hours.

Mar 6, 2025Sorry We're Closed is one of the most unique and memorable survival horror games we've ever played. The juxtaposition of bright colours and quirky characters against moments of true terror is unlike anything we've ever seen before, and the first-person combat mechanics manage to feel immensely satisfying and empowering while still retaining a sense of creeping dread. This is a world we won't soon forget, and unlike the protagonist's desire to shy away from love, we suspect you'll immediately fall head over heels for this one.

Mar 7, 2025Sorry We're Closed is a bizarre and sexy horror game, with an immediately eye-catching aesthetic and an awesome truth seeing mechanic.

Apr 10, 2025Sorry We’re Closed will find kinship in fans of the Persona series for its flamboyant character storylines. It’s less successful in trying to emulate survival horror stalwarts such as Silent Hill or Resident Evil. But Michelle’s amusing antics in combining these two strands make A La Mode a studio to watch.
