I’m normally a big fan of narrative-based games, indie games and puzzle games, so after reading a few positive reviews I thought this would be a slam dunk considering it was half-price. Unfortunately not. On loading the game, I was presented with a login screen and a few possible login/password combos. Having not read anything about the game (apparently the “correct” combo is on the game store page), brute forcing it seemed like the only way. After a couple of minutes of trying combinations, I logged in. Apparently to the “wrong” username, because I was presented with 50 chat logs to read. Ok, I thought, must be some info to provide some context to the game. I’ll read these and go back to the login screen. These 50 files comprised the entirety of the game’s story; I read through them in about about 20 minutes and headed back to the login screen before brute-forcing the “correct” combo. I then had 50 so-so logic puzzles to solve to unlock chat logs I’d already read one-by-one, and read through the unengaging, awfully-translated, confusing, depressing story. The cherry on the top of this bafflingly poor game design is the extraordinary amount of lag and slowdown for one of the most basic graphical setups I’ve experienced. Without the slowdown, this would probably be a 2. With it, it’s a 0. One of the biggest wastes of time/money I’ve ever had.… Expand
