It was a bit suspicious initially when the game was released that there were no console reviews at all and only a few Steam reviews. LikeIt was a bit suspicious initially when the game was released that there were no console reviews at all and only a few Steam reviews. Like we've all seen that before where a dev sandbags past release knowing the game isn't going to review well. But the game looked interesting and funny. So i took a chance and bought it for my Switch Lite. I am glad i did cause this game is SOLID!

Its fun (and funny) and all the weapons are interesting, what little story there is, is really great (wish there was more). Even the little loading screen text has interesting bits of lore. Reminds me of one of my favorite books (Heroes Die by Matt Stover). The tower defense part seemed like a great idea initially, but feels not that necessary later on which is fine. Game kind of feels structured like a roguelite but has set objectives and fixed levels for its campaign. The feel of the twin stick gameplay reminds me (in a good way) of DEADNATION and ALIENATION.

Now a month later I'm perplexed at why there are still ZERO reviews for any of the console versions of this game (critic nor user). I guess i'll remedy that by being the first. Be the change right? This game runs well on my switch lite. It is in no way ground breaking. But much more importantly it is FUN. Shoot things, Earn things, Upgrade things. rinse and repeat. Worth the price i paid (14$ USD)
