It's a really awesome platformer with the most interesting thing - to master each level to rank S, which is not that easy. This game was meant to be on the Switch, since it is really great for short sessions. Each enemy should be taken down differently, level design is amazing and packed with dense action. I haven't found any downsides to the game, it's definitely not the best in genre,It's a really awesome platformer with the most interesting thing - to master each level to rank S, which is not that easy. It's a nice well crafted little plattformer, you will pick up every now and than, to beat a level or two, which I would recommend to buy on sale (and on sale only).

A super smooth action platformer where you instinctively want to play as fast as possible. This was made for speed running! One of the most satisfying platformers ever made

A platform game that surprises with good details. Its combat style is simple and well structured, with a fixed and simple plot. Although the plot is very short, its gameplay is excellent.

Shadow Blade: Reload is not a terrible game by any means, but it doesn’t do anything to make it worth playing over others in the genre.

The gap in quality between mobile games and console/PC releases is almost non-existent now, as is proved by the likes of Shadow Blade: Reload. As such it fits the portable nature of Nintendo Switch like a glove, with its short-yet-challenging levels offering a platforming experience that’s ideal for both short bursts of play and longer speedrunning sessions. The sound design helps create a rhythm to your progression through each level, and there’s plenty of secrets to find in each level, but the absence of the level editor included in the PC/PS4 port makes this version feel a little hollow by comparison.
