    This felt like the main goal for this game was to have fun. I always felt like there was something to do and I never got bored because of all the different activities.

    I ended up 100% this game because it just had a stellar gameplay loop and felt really rewarding. The plot and humor in this was perfectly suited for me.     The plot and humor in this was perfectly suited for me. I really appreciated what this game did with its cheesy B action movie plot. Even with the characters and plot it wanted to make sure you had fun with a constant flow of humor and high camp performances.

    The combat was also really well done and gave a good mix of super powers and gunplay.    … Expand

    I'm giving this a 10. It's a super fun game, I have SR3 and 4 on the switch and it's great having 2 open-world city-based games where in one instance you have a typical GTA-style gameplay and in this one you have a superhero scifi style, it really adds a new dimension to what is essentially the same map. And most crucially, it runs really well on the switch. There are tank missions whereI'm giving this a 10. It's a super fun game, I have SR3 and 4 on the switch and it's great having 2 open-world city-based games where in one instance you have a typical GTA-style gameplay and in this one you have a superhero scifi style, it really adds a new dimension to what is essentially the same map. And most crucially, it runs really well on the switch. There are tank missions where you just go on a chain of blowing everything up and even then it's mostly smooth in docked mode. Sometimes there is the odd stutter or hiccup. The performance is overall worst when doing the blazin runs, its probably related to how fast you move and how fast the environment has to render, but even that is not a showstopping experience. Give it a chance on the switch. They've done well!… Expand

    Funny story is the soul of this game, and the superpower provides even more stimulating experience.

    The game is simply amazing. tough you have to be able to look past the, at times, very crude humour. which is as well a strength and also a weakness of this game.

    Forget what other people say....This is such a great game. Great gameplay, Great fun. Tons of hours can be sunk in this game if you really wanted too. The open World is larger then i have first thought and it is even a good looking game on the Switch. Dont run in to to much Framerate dips all much. A fun game to pick up and easy to learn. Good job Nintendo

    i always liked saints row, and now i can play on switch :), and i can play in any place because switch is portable too, loved it

    Good port of the worst Saints Row game. If you like this one you should be very pleased, it runs very well. Problem is that it's SR4 which is essentially a completely different game from the first 3. Gone is the gangster theme, replaced by some sci-fi theme. As a fan of the first three I just couldn't recommend this.

    I got this game on sale for a very low price ($3 equivalent) so I feel bad for complaining… but even the price of an espresso can’t excuse the amount of game breaking problems with this port. Several times the game got stuck on an infinite loading screen, forcing me to restart the game and redo long missions with no checkpoints.     Saints Row IV is like GTA on meth. Like GTA, it's set in an urban open worlds where you can steal vehicles and drive to missions. However, you'll soon get superpowers that are so over the top that they make driving entirely unnecessary, and they turn the game into a lunatic power fantasy.

    PROS: - CRAZY AND OVER THE TOP: From running over the side of a tower to jumping over buildings,    Saints Row IV is like GTA on meth. Like GTA, it's set in an urban open worlds where you can steal vehicles and drive to missions. However, you'll soon get superpowers that are so over the top that they make driving entirely unnecessary, and they turn the game into a lunatic power fantasy.

    PROS:

    - CRAZY AND OVER THE TOP: From running over the side of a tower to jumping over buildings, stomping away trucks, and blast-freezing entire squads of enemies, Saints Row IV pushes the power fantasy to places that even videogames usually can't reach.

    - UNAPOLOGETICALLY TRASHY: This game is self-conscious about being in general bad taste, and it wallows in it. Everything is lurid and tacky. I loved it.

    - PLENTY TO DO: There is plenty of content in this game. The main missions won't keep you busy for long, but even after playing plenty of side missions, me and my co-op buddy were well below 60% completion.

    CONS:

    - TOO BUGGY FOR RELEASE: This is yet another untolerably buggy high profile release. In particular, the Switch version has a crippling bug when played in co-op: sometimes the game freezes at the end of a mission, forcing you to replay the entire mission from scratch. The game has been out for a long time already, but the publisher didn't bother to fix even this major bug. For your perfectly good money, you're getting a defective product.

    - OUTDATED VISUALS: This game is dated, and it shows. Some graphics age well. These don't.

    - ULTIMATELY BLAND: The "superpowers" feel good for sure, the story is wacky, and there is plenty of variety–but all those positive elements can't hide the fact that the moment-to-moment gameplay is often bland and uninspiring.    … Expand

    Before they add the dlc, this game was good, now the game crash every 15 minutes. The game is literally unplayable, I filled out my complaint to the developer but the just promised they would launch a patch to fix it some day.

    Nice game for 2 euro’s but ANNOYING CRASHES AND HANGING LOADING SCREENS makes you have to play certains parts again as your progress did not save:@

    Gets boring after 2 hours, so I had to play it in small bursts. Plus the frame rate can't hold up in some sections.

    Overall great game with satisfyingly brutal kills and mostly obscure jokes game wouldn't take too long to complete fully, But thanks to the finishing only the main missions it only says 50% completed which makes a lot of time for people who actually like this game and want to continue playing.

    Game is still cool. Graphics haven't changed so much but its still good. I completed game and that was boring in some parts of game so its 9/10

    Saints Row IV: Re-Elected might be the developer's attempt trying to do something new while doing it under the guise of a popular brand name. The emphasis on super-powers that renders the tacked-on driving and shooting redundant is likely an intentional message from the team, that this just is not Saints Row anymore. The result is a weird and confusing action title with tons of features, which has a huge well of jokes that fly by really fast. The only aspect that makes Saints Row IV truly worthwhile, is the comedic, over the top spectacle and characters. It's not the mind-numbing gameplay.

    The problem here is that not only does Saints Row IV look kind of bad, it runs abysmally. It takes a lot to get me to feel negatively towards one of my all-time favourite games, but this kind of achieves that dubious goal.

    Overall, I’d say if you haven’t played Saints Row IV before to give it a shot. I honestly had a blast going through this. If you have, well, the novelty of having it portable might not justify the price tag. I have heard from Volition that the bugs ARE being worked on but, at the moment, there’s no definite time frame for when the DLC will actually be available for Switch players, and I can’t help but be a little disappointed at that.
