Heave! Fake the bull rope and stay the mizzen royal! Command a fleet of custom-rigged sailing ships on a procedurally crafted adventure over an unending ocean whose ancient depths have swallowed the key to a planet's mysterious past.

Put the wind to your back and cast out into High Adventure over a vast ocean spanning numerous unique regions, each packed to bursting with its own flora, fauna, and ambient music.

Make chase with a pod of curious dolphins, watch the sun sink into an icy horizon, run down a clutch of cowardly privateers and accept their apologies to the tune of wild cannonry.

Stay engaged with a replayable rogue-lite experience whose narrative is revealed through free exploration in an ocean-world of ever-changing discovery.

On the Deepblue, opportunity is in every direction, and sinking your ship is just the start of another adventure!

It’s a gorgeous, relaxing game that changes every time you play it, and it’s got a world that’s easy to get immersed in.

Sail Forth is a game that knows what it wants to do and does it incredibly well. Its world is charming, its mechanics are well thought out and most importantly its gameplay is fun. From battling pirates to delivering packages, Sail Forth can be as relaxing or intense as you want it to be thanks to the free sailing mode. There's not much else like it on the Switch and even on other platforms where you have more options, it's one of the best.

Sail Forth isn’t the best open-world game for the Switch, but it takes the procedurally generated formula presented in No Man’s Sky and gives it a much more approachable (and nautical) feel. The visuals are relaxing and effective, and almost every character has a lot of charm in the way they’re presented. Sailing is surprisingly fun despite some distracting bugs, and the fleet-building mechanics have just enough depth without feeling overwhelming. A good way to unwind if you're happy to go with the wind.

Sail Forth’s simulation of ocean waves and its accessible approach to sailing are top-notch. But the rest of the world isn’t as meticulously realized, resulting in low-stakes tedium across your exploration of the high seas.

Sail Forth isn't without a few issues, but exploring the seas and upgrading your ship is satisfying from start to finish.
