    First off I love Macross. LOVE IT. This game, however? HOT GARBAGE. Its a poorly made side scrolling bullet hell shooter that doesn't understand anything about what makes Macross cool, or shooters Transformations are nearly pointless and the trademark Macross missle barrages are no where to be found. I've played a TON of sidescrolling shooters and this one is just terrible. Very littleFirst off I love Macross. LOVE IT. This game, however? HOT GARBAGE.     Just garbage. Even the NES original version is better, and look, it wasn't the best game around at the time! Certainly, the developers didn't played the final game.
