    Great game, especially since its free. Nice little pass time and collect Pokemon before Lets Go releases in November 2018

    This game its actually a good mobile game, a free to start that its very funny to manage. I like the Mode Auto, because be sincerely, these mobile games dont requiere a lot of atentions. I use it for grind, and non-auto for unlocking new levels. I dont play a lot, so i dont care at all of the limited lives. I give it a 10 just because im enjoying this game :).

    Best game of all time.Addicting gameplay,charming and unique visuals and a top-tier OST make this a masterpiece brimming with personality and brilliant design.

    This is definitely the best free game on the switch! I love trying higher power leveled quests than the team I have makes it more challenging.

Now that I've been playing it for some time I'm glad you don't control the Pokemon, this allows you to focus on move sets and buffs that compliment each other.. The stones also play a huge roll and add a much deeper element to the game. All in all its an amazing free to play game but the $30 DLC makes it even better and is worth every penny! I hope they release an expansion that includes new areas and gen 2 Pokemon in the near future.    … Expand

    An interesting spinf-off, ideal to hang out and farm.
    Some might consider it forgettable, but it's a nice addition to the Pokémon catalog on Switch.

    This is a really good game, especially for a free Pokemon game. It's really just a free game that you can play for a little during a break, or for a long time. But you pretty much need to use the touchscreen if you want to use attacks faster.

    At the moment I'm loving it for the casual type of gameplay it offers. Still when you get stuck in a level you're provoked into thinking about which types of pokemon to use and which stones to equip and all the nerdy aspects of pokemon you like.

    The biggest thing that's kept me playing without the need to pay is simply making 2 accounts, which is very easy on Switch. It takes like 15    At the moment I'm loving it for the casual type of gameplay it offers.     Fun, addicting, and the least "Free to Play" free to play game I have ever played. Almost 5 hours in and haven't felt the need to pay a cent. Great on switch, but meant to be played with a touchscreen, and a mobile release is in the works

    Un juego que nos recuerda que no hay que juzgar un libro por su portada, a pesar de su estética estilo Minecraft, Pokémon Quest es un juego de acción muy adictivo pero por sobre todas las cosas divertido. Si lo pruebas seguro acabas agarrándole el gusto, ya que se vuelve muy divertido personalizar equipos, crear recetase ir a conquistar la isla.

La experiencia es muy personal ya que cada piedra que mejore a tu pokémon, cada tipo y especie del grupo influye y tanto la estrategia como los equipos irán cambiando de acuerdo a la decisión del jugador. Si hay algo que criticar es que requiere mucho farming de ítems.
    Si tienes una Switch no tienes excusa de no probarlo ya que es gratuito y el juego no te obliga a realizar gastos para disfrutarlo al máximo.    … Expand

    Better than Pokemon Go, enough to quench my thirst till Let's Go(I mean not particularly exciting either). The gameplay mechanics are similar to those used in the core battle system, with some RTS-esk mechanics thrown in. Give it a try, not promising anything.

    It's a whole different way to play Pokemon: it has a real time battle system with cooldown attacks and it has a cooking system in order to attract new Pokemon. The game design is simple for casual playing yet it has sufficient depth and variety and also allows for strategy in creating a good team of 3 Pokemon and move through the different areas.

    Only downside in the game (apart from the fact that you have to wait for the "battery recharge" until you can move on and do more missions) is the fact that Pokemon move automatically by themselves and many times they tend to be too far away from the enemy in order for a special attack to hit or they might be facing a completely wrong direction and totally miss the targets.

    Overall I was pleasantly surprised and i think it's good fun.    … Expand

    A very fun game until the level curve/pay curve after world seven makes completing the game almost pay to win unless you grind relentlessly for EXP and harvesting new Pokemon to come to your island.

    I personally found Pokemon Quest to be a fun little time waster. The graphics and music are cute, and it controls well. However, it feels more like a mobile game that was hastily made to work on Switch as well. Actually, it IS a mobile game. I'd recommend the mobile version over the Switch version, since they both end up having repetitive gameplay, micro transactions, and wait times.I personally found Pokemon Quest to be a fun little time waster. The graphics and music are cute, and it controls well. However, it feels more like a mobile game that was hastily made to work on Switch as well. Actually, it IS a mobile game. I'd recommend the mobile version over the Switch version, since they both end up having repetitive gameplay, micro transactions, and wait times. Perfect for mobile! Pokemon Quest is free at its base, so I can't complain TOO much. You can download it to have as a fun backup game to play whenever. If you're a fan of actual Pokemon, though, get Pokemon Let's Go, or wait until next year's entry.… Expand

    Why? Why did I play this bad game for as many hours as I did? It’s a free-to-play Pokemon game which interesting Pokemon Sprites. All of the Pokemon are cubed shape which I am a fan of. Unfortunately, that’s the only thing that I am a fan of in regards to this game.

    The game is barely a game. You can have up to 3 Pokemon in your party and each Pokemon has 2 stats. Attack power and Hit    Why? Why did I play this bad game for as many hours as I did?     This game is clearly designed for mobile phones, not for the Switch. The non-touch controls are clumsy. I'll pick this up when it hits iOS, and probably enjoy it a lot more.

    I enjoyed this free game and spent 5 dollars on some things. I would have given it a higher score but the sound is way too loud. It's a very relaxing casual game but the vibe is ruined by the volume. It's so loud in comparison to BOTW that it wakes up everyone in earshot when I switch over. I really hate how loud it is. Also while the game is a great value I feel like to fully enjoy it II enjoyed this free game and spent 5 dollars on some things. I would have given it a higher score but the sound is way too loud.     At its core it is just a watching simulator. This was made purely for the micro-transactions and it is a Pokemon game in name alone. It's free yes, but there are many other free games on the switch that you would get more enjoyment out of.

    It's not a bad game it's ok. Graphics and game itself are the kind you would expect on a free spin off of Pokémon. It is repetitive. And controls are kind of weird.

    Parece simple, y en realidad lo es, eso lo hace bastante atractivo. El juego en su momento requerirá que se "farmee" y se jueguen diferentes niveles múltiples veces para poder afrontar los nuevos retos que aparecen en cada momento.
    Mi pensamiento es que vale la pena probarlo, es un juego gratuito y puede disfrutarse sin invertir dinero. Si te gusta seguramente le dedicarás sus buenas horas, sino no has gastado nada por hacerlo.    … Expand

If you are a fan of the core series who is expecting this to be a regular Pokemon game but with a Minecraft feel to it, then you would be wrong.     is a mobile game, nothing to do with the other Pokemon games. the first moments are fun, but when you past to middle game is bored and repetitive. if you don't have nothing to play, try it.

    5/10 to much Minecraft water.

    Pokémon Quest is free and has, even with its limitations, quite addictive elements and even quite deep. The game is made for a more expanded audience and may not please the most purists and conservatives.

    The first two hours of this game was fun, but in the end, the duplication of gameplay still makes me feel boring. Finishing this game needs too much luck instead of techniques, what's more, the silly AI always stops you from passing levels.

    Pokémon Quest is really repetitive but guess what, it’s still catchy as hell. And you can play it without spending no money. It’s far from perfect though, mostly because of its poor readability.
