    This is a dumb down version of Pokemon Shuffle. If Shuffle is too hard for you, then Cafe Mix is right up your alley.

    However for other people, you will find the design very CUTE/KAWAII. But the game is boring as heck.

    It's a great puzzle game with fun mechanics and a fidget interface. So immersive and so intuitive. I just love it. Pretty good Pokémon puzzle game.

    The game is really fun, but it has some annoyances.

    For example: when you start a order (level), you have to choose a leader Pokémon linked to a skill. Once you use a life, the level layout becomes visible. Some levels require a certain skill, like a directional blast, otherwise they are almost impossible to clear. So if you chose the wrong Pokémon, you have to restart, losing a life in    The game is really fun, but it has some annoyances.

    For example: when you start a order (level), you have to choose a leader Pokémon linked to a skill. Once you use a life, the level layout becomes visible. Some levels require a certain skill, like a directional blast, otherwise they are almost impossible to clear. So if you chose the wrong Pokémon, you have to restart, losing a life in the progress. Lives take 30 minutes to replenish.

    Another thing is the luck based aspect of some levels. One type of level requirement are the horns, a little power-up that has to been used a certain amount of time. However, they drop at random. Your move limit is between 10/15 moves at the most levels, so sometimes it occurs that not enough horns are dropped before your moves are up. Unfortunately this happens a little too often...

    What I do like about this game is the rate of new mecaniques being introduced. Around every ten levels, a new obstacle in the form of food is being added to the mechanics pool. This makes every level feel unique.

    Also the art style is really amazing. The hand painted Pokémon all have really smooth animations and look very cute!

    Overall it is a solid puzzle game, I just wished the things mentioned above will be addressed in a future update.    … Expand

    Pretty good... I wish there weren't in-app purchases though. Need to play more to see if it's pay-to-win, but so far i'm enjoying it.

    What is this GameFreak? Just a cute but even worse CandyCrush clone. Or a trash Pokemon Link Version. We get it, you just want to insert mikro transactions to generate more money. How about make some good game?

    Honestly, as a fan of Pokemon series, that's looks like a cheap already 10times seen product. I am quite ungrateful because that is just cute, but doesn't shine. We want real Pokemon adventures, not another Mobile cheap game.

    This is in a way a little bit like viva piñata, youre given a list of requirements to attract new pokemon, you complete recipes and drinks by playing a match game, there will be sugar cubes for example that you have to break or nuts to cracks, and each pokemon specializes in certain ingredients, so by attracting them and playing with them to level them up, youll be able to instantly break these items rather than having to hit them 3 times,
    But essentially you chose a pokemon and slide your finger around the screen linking as many as you can for the most point possible, filling up a bar for a special item that can be used to break these ingredients needed to make the drink..
    its actually a eally cute game and it took me about 2 hours of play time before the game reminds you it is indeed a free to play mobile game.. your meter fills to 5 plays, and each ppplay takes 15 minutes to load, so oyure forced to take hr long breaks after each 10-15 minute long plllayyy session after you learn the ropes.. but I found 2 hoursss llplenty of time to tell me if this is a game ill care to come back to and attract all the pokemon I can or juuusttt walk away now…
    New mechancs are introduced the deeper you get and this newer version does have new pokemon to collect..
    this is by no means a must download, but it’s a cute little time waster puzzle game.

    Pokémon café mix Is a fine puzzle game that is pretty easy. It feels like this game is targeted to kids, and if that's the case then I don't see why this is a bad game. I personally believe that the puzzles might be a little to hard for a kid in the late game? But at least the visuals are cute. The only complaint I have is that I have to take the switch out of the dock in order to play it.

    I can't understand how some of the levels can be so easy and then, all of sudden, there is an impossible level. Oh, actually I can understand... "pay us for the next moves, so you can continue." For real, sometimes its not about difficulty, its just designated to not being able win with the given moves.
    Luckily the whole game is not like this. Most of the puzzles makes this game an okay,    I can't understand how some of the levels can be so easy and then, all of sudden, there is an impossible level. Oh, actually I can understand... "pay us for the next moves, so you can continue." For real, sometimes its not about difficulty, its just designated to not being able win with the given moves.
    Luckily the whole game is not like this. Most of the puzzles makes this game an okay, chilling way of spending few minutes. Art is cute and physics + mechanics makes this game a slightly above average in this genre.    … Expand

    While I know that hating on mobile games is an obvious and tired idea, I feel that Pokemon Cafe Mix is a simple case of no effort, and an entire reliance on characters from an established series. I put this game down very quickly, and if your gameplay which aims to be addictive is managing to run out in less than an hour, you've truly messed it up.

    With fun puzzle gameplay, Pokémon to catch and a decent serving of charm and polish, Pokémon Café Mix offers enough to satisfy the hunger of many a Pokémon fan, but it’s slow mechanics and lack of depth may cause others to shop elsewhere.

    Pokémon Cafe Mix has a great aesthetic to it. Still, the imprecise nature of its physics leads to equal parts fun and frustration.
